Racism at Kettering / Lincoln

Recommended Posts

Have just heard on Final Score about certain sections of support (not sure if it was home or away fans) involved in racist chanting / abuse. Don''t know who is was directed at but it sounds quite serious.

Can anyone shed any light?

Since both goalscorers in the game (one for each side) were black, anyone involved in this would have to particularly dense.

Although from the link, it's far from clear whether anything actually happened.

Yeah it is the home fans and it was directed at big Iffy Onura.

Terrible.

I know quite a lot of Kettering fans, most of them are dick heads.

I bet they wouldn't do it to his face, he'd eat them alive. Hopefully Lincoln paste them in the replay.

That's appropriate. It's probably based on penis envy! :D :D

lol

I also thought that.

Hence "Big" Iffy Onuru.

I hope they catch these people, chain them to up and let Iffy give them 150 lashes with his special 12 inch whip.

I went and I didn't hear a thing. The main noise was coming from the covered terrace with a load of kids and good on them for creating an atmosphere. The main stand was very quiet bar a few moans at ref decisions.

The thing I find bewilding about this claim is that Kettering have an Asian chairman (who for a while had Air Palestine sponsoring them) and loads of black players of various origin. The two biggest crowd pleasers are both black.

Did you go?

If you read that poppies forum, seems Peter Jackson is talking bollocks, which doesn't surprise me tbh.

Personally I did not go.

I would never watch Kettering, unless we were playing them.

My cousin was in the stands and he said he did not hear anything, But my brother was in town last night and apparently a name was mentioned and apparently he admitted to saying it.

Obviously hear say can be a damaging thing.

So I suppose it is best left how it is and let the clubs sort this out.

Jackson was supposed to have had a few altercations with the Kettering fans and he seems like a right cock to be honest.

Peter Jackson spent the day with my mate's dad (a season ticket holder at Lincoln for at least twenty years) in hospital a few days before he passed away from cancer earlier on this year, I won't hear a bad word against him.

Was gonna say, everyone seems to love him in the football world.

Fair play to him, That is excellent of him to do that, I am talking in terms of football though, Seems he is a bit of a idiot when it comes to him and fans.

It is not the first time I have heard it, But if there is a case behind his arguments and if these people did honestly use racist remarks then I can't blame him for his reactions.

Yeah, I mean it's fine to racially abuse them if they're rubbish - but if they score, then it's just wrong.

>_<
