It would indeed, thought Melo had his eyes firmly on the Knicks though? And god knows what's happening with Chris Paul now.

Yeah he does, he wants to go back home to syracuse area. Although the nuggets are worried about losing him for nothing at the end of season so are/where exploring trades and this one seemed a nice fit as they would get some good talent back to build around (although noah is out of contract as well at end of season i think) Plus melo has the problem of the possible lockout and lowing of salary cap, so he might need to re-up with the nuggets if he wants a better max deal.

Paul is apparantly happy there now, but for how long who knows

Off topic but what's the best NBA app? For news and highlights and shit? I'm guessing there'll be an official one nearer the beginning of the season but I thought I'd ask anyway :thumbup:

Bumping this cos I'm getting proper excited for this season now. Lakers and Timberwolves play at the O2 next week and I'm proper gutted I'm not going now. Tickets are going for loads on eBay and I can't afford them :(

There pretty much past the rumour stage, latest news is that its at the stage where denver just need to sign the paperwork. I reckon this is a pretty sweet deal for jersey. Granted they've given up harris and Favours (the 3rd pick) but they kept there biggest asset in Lopez. There was never any gurantee of Favours fulfilling his potential and harris was quick but that was about it, will never make it to being one of the best pgs. So they have a front line of melo, troy murphy and lopez. Thats not bad, it has a great combo of scoring (inside/outside), rebounding, defence (well improving at least), size, length, athletism. Then of course theres always the x-factor of the russian owner willing to throw his money around (Chris Paul anyone?) Could maybe do some damage from the season after this one

Indeed mate. Just on my way back from the O2. Dissapointing to see Kobe get hardly any court time. Understandable I suppose as they wouldn't want to risk injuring him further. To say the crowd weren't happy was an understatement!

How much did tickets cost for this?

Ours were £100 (although we only paid £25 would not of paid £100 for it!) bang in the centre lower tier. Think they were £1000 for courtside and around £50 up in the gods. Not cheap!!!

Aside from Wade going off injured, I trust you weren't disappointed.

Even with Wade off, Bosh is by far the best guy LeBron has played with and it's going to take one hell of an effort to stop them.

Lakers vs Barcelona on ESPN tonight, 8 o clock I think.

Watching the Knicks at 3 too

Knicks was on last night, I saw a bit. Amar'e looks like he'll relish being the man (for now).

Wonder if Kobe will get more minutes tonight...

Anyway, i'm loving that you're gonna get more into it this year! (Although if you're a Knicks fan don't expect much :ph34r: )

Cavs would make for an interesting season lol. I like the Bulls, love Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer and obviouslty there's Deng. Would love for them to make the Finals (unlikely).
