I havn't been to an away game before and because the season ticket holders get priority I don't know what my chances are like. They'd give us a healthy amount of seats though wouldn't they?

Only the right type of fan goes away on Boxing Day, I'm thinking we'll sell out our initial allocation, nothing more.

I like the New Years Day one too....weird...everyone is still spaced out and relaxed.

But if Ken Bates is feeling generous (), he'll give us the whole end and we'll be able to take 3000. That would be more than enough for our needs. Don't think it will happen, though..

Was absolutely awful, i like boxing day games as well takes about 45 minutes for everyone to wake up but they usually are quite good.

So you should have no problem from football ground guide: What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters?Apart from the visit of Manchester United and the odd cup tie or local derby, Leeds is a fairly enjoyable place to watch your football. However, if you are attending one of the former games, then exercise caution around the ground and the adjacent car parks. Away fans are located in the South East corner of the South Stand at one end of the ground, where up to 1.800 fans can be accommodated. This allocation can be raised to 5,000 if necessary by giving away fans the whole of the South Stand. Facilities within are fairly basic, the leg room sparse, plus I saw a number of fans being ejected (without warning) for swearing. So be on your best behavior.

We'll get the Cheese block and a little section extra comming to around 3,000 Tickets, Leeds will be in the rest of that stand.
leicesterseddon Posted 12 November 2008 Posted 12 November 2008 this should easily go into general sale as i think we'll be given 3000. i do, however, think we might sell all of those...this is the 'glamour tie' of our fixture list this season after all i never thought we'd take 2,700 odd to oldham. i could easily see us taking that many or more for leeds. as someone has already said, you just never know with our fans. boxing day games usually attract bigger home crowds, tho it's obviously a bit different for awayers. we're playing them on boxing day and they're playing us easter monday. just tell me that came out of a computer!

I like having big games/local derbies on Bank Holidays, nothing like a nice traditional yuletide rivalry to warm the veins. Though I agree, the 'fixtures computer' may just have malfunctioned when that one came out. Would they consider putting a Football Special train on up to Leeds just as a one off? Long shot I know but it'd make up my mind a lot quicker as to whether I'd be going to this one.
