syston_fox Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Have any under 21s become over 21s yet ? Think it was decided to keep the same squads as usual - especially after it was a much closer game last time.
Sparky Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Yes. Funnily enough though the next match is Under 22's. Nope , nothing in the rules to state that !!!
syston_fox Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Nope , nothing in the rules to state that !!! Well I'm hoping they will donate Bert as a gesture of goodwill
Sparky Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Well I'm hoping they will donate Bert as a gesture of goodwill Berts over 21 !!!!! Woo hoo
Tevez Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 1 man doesn't make a team but it would be different to see the U21's without Bert and Maybes.
Sparky Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 1 man doesn't make a team but it would be different to see the U21's without Bert and Maybes. I think it would make for a close game
Finnegan Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Am due a return to form (and some vague attempt at fitness.) Count me in. Well I'm hoping they will donate Bert as a gesture of goodwill I think we decided there was no need to make Bert, Maybes and co' switch over if they don't want to. Everyone seemed pretty content with the teams how they were / are? That was after the six asides, anyway. I've not spoken to many of you since.
Tevez Posted 16 November 2008 Posted 16 November 2008 Well I'm hoping they will donate Bert as a gesture of goodwill We're on about playing January, not Christmas Eve.
Bert Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Have any under 21s become over 21s yet ? Me and Wilkesy. But, i thought we agreed to stay as we were. If Tevez wants different though, I'm not fussed.
lildave3 Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Me and Wilkesy. But, i thought we agreed to stay as we were. If Tevez wants different though, I'm not fussed. No.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 As long as Maybes is on my drinking team with sick on his shirt next to a former Leicester player's brother then I'm not fussed what the deal is with u21s/o21s.

Textbook. I hear Brian Gee is out that night. As an aside he gets mail sent to B. Gee. Excellent. I'm sure i can be counted in on that day were i to not go to Yeovil.

Tevez Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Me and Wilkesy. But, i thought we agreed to stay as we were. If Tevez wants different though, I'm not fussed. Here we go. I only said it would be interesting if it was different teams. I won't be there so my opinion counts for nothing
General Smuts Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Why would you do to Yeovil two days before we play them I read it as a Saturday game before the Yeovil kick off.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 I read it as a Saturday game before the Yeovil kick off. I know! Keep up to date Smuts! First you miss the shedding of my hair, then you miss this. Have you been getting too much poon?
Sparky Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 Surely the over 21s are due a couple of the players that have turned 21 , surely people want closer matches ?? Else u21 vs o21 no longer stands and may as well pick teams from the start ??
General Smuts Posted 17 November 2008 Posted 17 November 2008 I know! Keep up to date Smuts! First you miss the shedding of my hair, then you miss this. Have you been getting too much poon? I fooking wish - getting up to too much work more like. Stupid real life.
Ashley Posted 18 November 2008 Posted 18 November 2008 IF this game does go ahead, can we play at St Maggies again?
Tommeh Posted 18 November 2008 Posted 18 November 2008 IF this game does go ahead, can we play at St Maggies again? Whilst this is probably the most realistic venue, I'd much prefer a good sheet of grass, plenty of January mud and a few puddles, the surfaces at st. Maggies and all these astroturfs are to put it nicely, shite. The tournament worked well there but the 3rd u21/o21's was nowhere near the first 2 games on viccy park.
