:frusty: Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

He isn't a pedo. We aren't laughing because it's possible he may be a pedo. We're laughing because it's such a far-fetched, stupid, leftfield statement to come out with in the first place.

It'd be about as stupid a statement as me calling you an educated, well rounded, civil human being with a broad and wide understanding of global culture.

Nice one finners you have excelled in this thread

Unlike your Rughby team :P

and with it the anger is released

pg.15 is good going really

At least this thread has stirred up many responses! I don't quite know why though. A clash of personas it seems...

It's a shame it had to come to that to be fair, considering we are all originally here because we support the same team, doesn't mean were going to share the same views.

Of course not. So things like this are bound to happen. No need to make a bigger deal out of it. One could have been more sensible and another could have been less touchy :dunno::thumbup:

Hey violence, I like kids - can I give it a go-go with my yoyo?

That, my dear friends, is my worthwile contribution to one of the most insightful threads EVER to be started on FT.

To be honest, If I have interpreted this correctly, I do find the comment made by Daggers quite funny. That doesn't mean I can't understand why people took offence, but the way for people to deal with it would have been to PM Daggers and express their view, in a reasonable, non-aggressive manner, as it would seem Katy did.

I have been a member of FT for almost 2 years, I think, and if there is one thing I am sick of hearing, it is that there is a clique on this forum. I really don't believe that this is the case. Yes, there is a friendship group consisting of those who regularly go to the football and see eachother on a matchday. They are bound to be closer to eachother than they are tho those who they do not know.

I read the forum daily. I post occassionally. Never have I been made to feel unwelcome, or as though I am an outsider by anybody here. Those who feel as though they are disliked or disregarded by the majority need either to look at their posts and find what it is that is causing the majority to disagree or even dislike them, or stop being so bloody insecure about what people who they may never meet seem to think about them on an internet forum.

The voice of reason has spoken!

Now can we all just start offending people again?!

Why settle for the thought? I can go down the harbor and get one who can masturbate for you. It's easy to mail them once they've been drugged a bit. PM me if you're interested. I'm currently offering 10% startup discount until New Year. Take a look at my website for further info

The fact is; when he is challenged, he BLOCKS people. He doesn't give people the opportunity to PM him, he doesn't want to debate with them. Is that just enough reason to post out loud, so to speak? I think so. Mr Daggers is clever in the way that, he knows that who ever does challenge him, will have to put up with the constant crap I have had to put up with for 16 pages of this thread.

What isn't a coincidence though is the fact that I have had numerous PM's agreeing with my original post and asking me not to leave the forum.

I didnt see the original post, so will withold comment on that. However as it has been deleted i will assume that it was offensive and ill thought out. Stez's apology for mising it also suggests it was not quite right.

I do not know either of the protagonsists however it would seem that Fox123 was right to complain, however his/her misuse of the term "potential" seems to have clouded the issue and allowed a torrent of attack on him/her.

we all know when we hear or see something offensive, whether it is said or done by a friend or someone i respect...if it is wrong..i will tell them...defending them or hiding behind a smokescreen helps no-one and in the end condones poor behaviour.

i don't think fox123 was right to complain, the situation was being dealt with, and via several pm's to daggers and poynton last evening i tried to smooth things over.

fox123 made this thread, after the offending post, and the subsequent fall out, had been removed, in an attempt, by me to put an end to the arguing of the night before last. which failed, i believe, because this thread was started and served only to poke the hornets nest i was trying to calm down.

if anyone had the moral right to start the thread it was poynton, in my opinion.
