Yes its only when editing. Can I put an idea to you Mikey? I am putting my creative writing stuff and I may need some pictures. If I credit them to you with a link to your site could you find suitable images? The first one I have set up is called Mother. I won't need any just yet. I will need to see how to set the links up and add extra to my home page with credits. It is just an idea that has popped in my head so may need more thinking. All I was thinking I may not have suitable images and I do not want to breach any copyright laws by just surfing the net. I also thought of drawings. The first Mother would be something like a woman reading from a book to a small child in bed.. I would like to do that if I do later editions of my book.

I don't know whether to make a separate daily page for each or put all poems together.

I could give it a go. Just let me know when you'd want them for and I'll try and find someone to pose for the photos for me.

Thanks. I'll think about that one. The poem is a Sonnet in Shakespeare style put as it is my memories (sort of) even I do not go back that far.

The next one could be Creaky Bones. I have a picture of a skeleton but it is one I got from a google search. But anything like old bloke with a walking stick. (There was a crooked man. Comes to mind) But I am not rushing it. How much space is free? Can't really put too many pages. I could try and theme the poetry

I still have some to proof read and the job I had at the agency has become available again. The council have set up a new budget for the hiring of agency workers so it will be daily ongoing as and when I am wanted.

Mikey I've added a link page with Foxestalk and yours linked although I am trying to avoid off-genre links too much. I have put a guest page on so maybe there could be contribu8tions from here hence the link. Anywhere that I get feedback or help will receive a mention.

It's not looking too bad actually seems easier than all the other websites I've tried and I like the template. Suited for what I want.

Does anyone here use 500px? I've been thinking of joining for a while now. It looks quite impressive and seems to generate shot feedback pretty quickly.

Yep I'm on it. It's a great site and so much of the work on there is incredible.

Here's my page. Although I'm not on par with the vast majority on there

Nice one, you got some very good shots on there. I'll get one set up.

I just read there's a 500px plug in for Adobe Lightroom as well, happy days. I'll give you a new follower when I'm done.

Mikey there's some lovely stuff on there and you've obviously got a creative eye. If I had to make one criticism, I'd say watch the "horizon" on some of your shots, for instance Stanford Hall gardens and the Watermead sunsets. They look like they're on a slope. If you entered those into a competition, they'd pick it up pretty quick. The same thing happened to me when I bought a new Nikon recently...I'm obviously not used to the weight of the camera and the horizon was out by about 5 degrees on most of my shots :D

One again, nice stuff and don't take it the wrong way. I'm an editor so spend all day looking at thousands of images from Australia's finest cameramen so I get a bit choosy. Even they sometimes make the same mistake

Nah, not taken the wrong way mate, I've noticed it myself as well when coming back to edit them. Sometimes use Picasa, as it has a straighten tool on that.

I received a £50 Jessops voucher as a work leaving present, and now every time I close my eyes I see the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM Lens...

I feel a purchase coming on...
