Came across this photographer when on a friend's Facebook page. Saw a couple of his photos and wanted to find more.

Found his page on 500px and to say his work on portraitures is beyond brilliant, is an understatement. Awe inspiring work. He really sees people.

Met up with some other photographers on Sunday and wandered around Leicester centre and did some off flash photography.

The people modelling are just helping out.

Trying my hand at shooting star trails tonight and some other hopefully good lighting shots. Will be at Old John at Bradgate Park. Meeting other photographers there too, so if anyone here fancies going, people will be meeting at 7:30pm.

Camera capable of those sort of shots will be needed, as will a tripod and a shutter release cable. 18-55mm lens should be okay. Think others will be bringing equipment too so if you don't have certain things, you can always borrow while there. :)

I've been trying that too but I can't seem to go anywhere where there aren't doggers.

I put my interior light on to change a lens. Bad move. Apparently putting your interior light on means that you're open for business.

Isle of Wight a major dogging place then? ha

Anyone fancy a two-year old Canon 7D with three EF-S zoom lenses (10-22mm, 17-55mm and 55-250mm)?

I also have a suitable battery grip for the 7D and lens hoods for all three zooms available.

All items come in original packaging and in mint condition.

Interested? PM me for a quote.

Took some photos of the comet from Bradgate park some years ago. Late at night, freezing cold, on my own...was scared shitless. Probably why the pics came out blurred.

Haha, go back and try again! ;)

If I had the money I'd be interested in the 10-22mm.Skint though. :(

Star trails. First attempt at this kind of shot. Not the best outcome, but practice makes perfect and I'll go back and try again. :)

Yep exactly this. Didn't help much If I'm being honest. Will be heading back there some time next week for more experimenting I think.

Somewhere in a hollow or surronded by trees might be better. At Old John you're going to get light from Leicester AND Loughborough, not to mention Cropston, Anstey, Newtown Linford, Woodhouse Eaves, etc.

When I'm stargazing, I find Wistow a good place to go, as it's in a bit of a hollow. Plus you can park up, not much traffic and it's fairly open.

Made me chuckle when I read this...

Wistow is good for many, many things.
