Maybes Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Should we ever get rid of the goal music though I have fears, A majority of home supporters (i.e - Don't travel away) have forgot or don't know how to celebrate without the music, Just look for example when the goal music isn't played straight away after a goal people are just standing there doing nothing waiting for the music to start celebrating. This is why as much as I and many people hate the music i'm thinking it might better just to leave it as it is. Music and Celebrations = Embarrassing. No Music and No Celebration = Unbelievably Embarrassing.
Kilworthfox Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 What, you live in Colchester? Back in the good old MH in a couple of weeks. I'll get a facebook group started pronto! Er no Market Harborough
Kilworthfox Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 Fair play to you doing this, and we can all moan about it but if no-one does anything about it moan will be all it is, and I salute you for that, but haven't we tried petitioning before? (A few weeks/months ago?)-And yes I signed that one too. Agreed but I am fed up of it, as are many others. You can sign this one and forget about the 30 seconds that you wasted your time on it. Seriously you have wasted many 90 minutes on LCFC why not 30 seconds to see if you could make a difference to LCFC?
Simi Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 if 1 signs it it will be 1 less to get, fact. The club won't care about it, anyone can sign it, anywhere in the world. Would be worthless.
Kilworthfox Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 The club won't care about it, anyone can sign it, anywhere in the world.Would be worthless. Therefore the FT one was worthless? Anyone can register & vote.
davieG Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Make the petition ST Holders only - it can be their December/Xmas benefit
Kilworthfox Posted 30 November 2008 Author Posted 30 November 2008 Make the petition ST Holders only - it can be their December/Xmas benefit Stop it!
Simi Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Therefore the FT one was worthless? Anyone can register & vote. But it was publicised on a specfic forum, some sort of interest in the club would have been realised.
leicesterseddon Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 an online petition would be about as useful as trying to teach a german the value of a solid forward-defensive stroke don't bother
davieG Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Taking over the fans forum is the place to start, the club seem to value their opinion above all else, you get direct contact with those of influence and probably a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Fosse Boy Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Er no Market Harborough Yeah, I know mate, joke. I'm in Colchester at the minute though, hence the screen name.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 I was in the West Stand yesterday (which was ace - I even got a comfy seat) and they don't really dance in there, but just wave their hands about to the music in a really half-arsed way. It was quite sweet

marbelladave Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 For no particular reason. Cronaldo just sent off, second yellow card for deliberate handball, has to leave the field to chants of Cheat, Cheat, Cheat. Ace, made my day...... :D :D
adam Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 The new PHG and chelsea fooking dagger ruin the whole game for me. Like someone said earlier i hate it when we score now, such an embarresment. Why cant we have the old PHG back? We had that for years and for some unknown reason the club have remixed it. Even Filbert was doing the can can yesterday. Shameful
GLC Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 3) Who presses the button/clicks on a computer screen to play the music when we score?all we know is hes called the stig i dont like the music thats played, i would prefer phg but the old version, i hate the remix
marbelladave Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Get the band back, nothing better than the PHG played on real horns! Goal celebration music is for stupid people who are not paying attention. First came across it at a NFL game in San Diego, stadium full of Americans, says it all really!
Guest Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 Taking over the fans forum is the place to start, the club seem to value their opinion above all else, you get direct contact with those of influence and probably a cup of tea and a biscuit. Tea, yes, biscuits, no.
Shrenchel Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 an online petition would be about as useful as trying to teach a german the value of a solid forward-defensive strokedon't bother Disagree. Yeah they're unreliable and easy to manipulate so not great but if show Peter Jones that you've 10,000 signatures on an online petition he's going to have to take more notice.
Jordan Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 10,000 signatures on an online petition are worthless. 10,000 voices, on the other hand...
Uncle Monty Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 We played Chelsea a few times...What do you mean it has got nothing to do with Leicester :giggle: The band or the song has no Leicester connections
davieG Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 10,000 signatures on an online petition are worthless.10,000 voices, on the other hand... It's not something to worry about as we'll get neither, there isn't 10,000 fans who attend regularly who feel strongly enough about it to bother to do either. A large proportion of the regular attendees are also under 16 who probably know no different and think it's 'normal' and therefore like it, they would view it as traditional - the longer it goes on the bigger that group becomes. Take over the Fans Forum - make a difference!
The Stig Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 I have no problem at all with the PHG. I don't like Chelsea Dagger at all. I don't mind goal music, but I'd prefer it to be something individual.
The Stig Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 3) Who presses the button/clicks on a computer screen to play the music when we score?all we know is hes called the stig I can officially deny said rumours.
Fosse Boy Posted 30 November 2008 Posted 30 November 2008 OK, got a facebook group up and running for any FTers who are on it. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=99807515439
