GLC Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 bit early but heres the team news Midfielder Matt Oakley is set to return to the Leicester side after missing out against Dagenham with ankle trouble. David Martin should be fit after minor hip trouble, while reserve keeper Paul Henderson (groin) faces a late test. Southend's loan duo Dan Harding and Rob Milsom are likely to start after being denied permission to play in the Cup. Paul Furlong and Dougie Freedman have thigh injuries, Alex Revell is battling a chest infection but Lee Barnard could feature after missing nine matches. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_2/7752365.stm

sbfox Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 They're pretty confident on the Southend forum.... bit TOO overconfident.
Koke Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 When we met in the Championship 2 years ago, Kisnorbo scored the only goal in a 1-0 win. Two years later, Matty Fryatt is the only survivor of that team. Leicester: Henderson, Kenton, McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Johansson, Low, Hughes, Johnson, Tiatto, Fryatt, O'Grady. Subs: Stearman, Porter, Hume, Logan, Williams.
Father Ted Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 "While reserve keeper Paul Henderson faces a late fitness test" RESERVE KEEPER?!?!? BBC KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Corky Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Hendo? Norbo? And then there's Porter Yes, I noticed that. Very poorly researched Kareem, stay behind after classes on Monday as punishment (or sit in a room with Phube for a few hours while he talks about his "love" of Arsenal).

Koke Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 I meant the starting line up. Neither Hendo nor Kisnorbo will start. So that means only Fryatt is the survivor from that eleven. Try and keep up with me lads.

Koke Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 It's Friday - I can be forgiven after a week of hard work dealing with Scotsmen.

morris1234 Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 rather pooping it for this game. i am going to it but its one of those games where we are predicted a comfortable win, where we are expected to put in the performance, but we dont, i think we will draw 1-1. prove me wrong but i think theyre going to play better and generally do better tomorrow!
Legend_in_blue Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Doesn't that Dougie Freedman always score against us? He's like that Stern John. You just can't get rid. I hope his thigh injury keeps him out at any rate.
