barmy76uk has many impeccable sources - barmy76uk has access to both Facebook AND wikipedia and so there's nothing barmy76uk doesn't know. One of his posts even referred to a story in the Daily Mirror and so we can rest assured that barmy76uk can definitely read.

I trust barmy76uk implicitly, so if he says Tunchev is not going to sign for us I believe him absolutely and 100%.

If this is right he will be better than our CBs from last year. The fact that he is a goal scorer is brilliant too. The Bulgarians may be able to come over to see him. They are in the EU and flights will be cheap. Thanks for the post - much appreciated.

Are you suggesting we have brought him in so that we raise attendances? I would not put it past Milan :P

I don't understand this at all!

A Bulgarian International, playing for the national club side decides to up sticks from a team who are supposable Champions League quality (They won their league) a major part of their side decides to up sticks and come to a now provincial English 3rd division side who will be playing shiite opposition all season???? He even drove here!!!!!!! Crazeh! :S

Milan listen just give him his kids back and let him go somewhere decent!

Or is it that you have threatened him with investing in his future unless he joins us?

Posted
Hadn't thought of it but seems a MM marketing ploy come to think of it ! Cheaper to come from Bulgaria than quite alot of us spend to come.

Yeah totally without logic

The person in charge of the club right now is an unsuccessful politician known to ruin everything he touches

:giggle: Sounds abit like our owner mate

I refuse to believe he is as good as this CSKA fan makes out, purely because of those lying Aab fans.

****ing Jimmy Nielsen.

@Kilworthfox , CSKA Sofia won't be playing in international tournaments this year, we lost our license, the administration is selling most players who can be sold right now, because they need money to pay the loans...so it's not about Leicester, it's about any team that is willing to pay 1 millon Euro...and by the way - player's opinion doesn't mean much around here, if they want to sell a player he will be sold to one team or another...however, if he signed his personal contract that means he's happy with the financial side of the transfer and he'll be getting paid at least 2 or 3 times more than before...

@lildave3 , no he's not as good as I said - HE'S BETTER and will get better...right now all of us (CSKA fans) are pissed off, sad and all that because of him leaving...the coach is pissed off because they didn't ask him about the transfer and because Tunchev was our captain and best player...

ther is something about hollow-tip that does not feel right. he uses a lot of slang and british slang at that. and the name hollow-tip? interesting. hope im wrong tho.

British slang? lol ...I'm a Bulgarian who lived in the United States for some years, now I'm back in Bulgaria and all I tried to do is tell you a little bit about Tunchev, the situation around his transfer and maybe answer some of your questions

Yes I understand the situation CSKA find themselves in, and sympathies to your club and fans! However are LCFC the only club who wish to pay £800,000 for Alex?

LCFC are at the worst point of their history.......ever! If a quality player chose to join us who had no affinity to Leicester I would be, and am naturally suspicious even with CSKA's situation. ;)

Also shame about CSKA obviously a good club, sure you will be back as the fans make a club not 1 crazy individual (see Leicester City chairman)

Its interesting to see that barmy76uk has been logged onto the site several times today without posting anything further(his reference to The Mercury perhaps a clue to his source).Besides which, googling Tunchev reveals he was linked with Spurs earlier this year, further underlining how "out of our league" this guy is.As soon as the story broke before he'd signed I feared the worst, which looks to have now happened.

Posted

Well, we were all really surprised that Tunchev was sold to your club and not to a bigger and better one...I'm surprised that a player of his caliber isn't going to a Premiership team or to the Bundesliga or Primera...as far as I know the coach of Leicester is Serbian (?) so that might've accelerated the transfer and believe me - the people in charge of our team right now would sell a player to any team if they get the money they want in return...with that said, the fact that Tunchev isn't going to a big club, does not make him a worse player, soon you'll see

Posted

The Serb isn't our coach (although he thinks he should be) he is the owner. My point is that this deal would be a real coup if it had been done before being leaked. It now seems likely that its going to be hijacked at the last minute.

Posted

Why would having a Serbian owner have anything to do with signing a Bulgarian?

We've got an English manager - it doesn't mean that we will now be signing David bloody Villa.

Long story short...the facts are: we won our 31st league title, 16 points ahead of the second team, we didn't lose a single game and then it all crashed down...the person in charge of the club right now is an unsuccessful politician known to ruin everything he touches...he came to the club about 2 years years ago , announcing that he will be representing a billionaire who is buying the club (Pramod Mittal) and promised a bright future and all that...it turns out the billionaire hasn't transferred money to the club and his whole interest was buying the biggest steel factory in Bulgaria and in the Balkans...so the politician has paid all transfers, wages and all that by credits and other types of loans...now, not being able to pay them back, we lost our license for the champions league and the rest of the international competitions...our rivals (levski sofia) who have great presence in terms of people in the Bulgarian football union took advantage of the situation, pushed the right buttons and here we are today, wondering if our club's gonna survive.......still, the main problem is the politician (Tomov) who is a great liar and has brought the greatest Bulgarian club to its knees...

Would Pramod Mittal be a relative of Lakshmi Mittal who recently bought QPR?

I refuse to believe he is as good as this CSKA fan makes out, purely because of those lying Aab fans.

****ing Jimmy Nielsen.

AaB actually won the league last season, after Nielsen left. >_<

@Daggers - Serbia and Bulgaria are neighboring countries, Belgrade and Sofia are just a couple of hours away, everyone around here knows good Serbian players and they know good Bulgarian players, while these players usually go under the radar of western european clubs...we've had Serbian players come to CSKA and there have been players from our team going to Serbian clubs...besides that, a few years ago (when we beat Liverpool at Anfield) our coach was a Serb (Miodgrag Yesic), he still follows the team and knows our players, so it's very possible that your owner has gotten the word about the situation of CSKA and decided to act quickly

@Michael - yes, he's one of the Mittal brothers

According to his agent yesterday Tunchev has signed.

The master of CSKA Alexander Tunchev signed with Leicester, said his agent Traiko Sokolov in the speech to "Channel 3".

Tunchev already signed a contract with Leicester and now will play in this team "- Sokolov said -" There no problems in signing the contract. Both sides are satisfied. "

All round jolly excellent then. Thank you to Hollow-Tip for his insights. Here's to Mr Tunchev taking us back into the Championship. Let's be happy and rejoice.
