Not only as a fan of CSKA Sofia, but as a football fan in general, I'd like to congratulate you all on signing the best Bulgarian defender in the last couple of years. No offense but Tunchev's class is higher than League 1, he played for the best Bulgarian team, he's on the national team...however the situation in CSKA Sofia isn't good at the moment and many players are being sold quickly and without much effort to sell them to teams that correspond to their level. Now about Tunchev - he's strong, stable, and calm all the time...he scores many goals using his head and is a real inspiration to the rest of his teammates. As a long time fan ot CSKA Sofia I'm really sad to see him go away and I'm sure you all will soon realize that you've acquired a player of great caliber. I read that some of you are wondering about the position he plays - he only plays CB, that's where he's at his best and I don't remember him playing on the wing. HOLLOW-TIP Posted 6 July 2008 Posted 6 July 2008 Yea, everyone here is considering him gone, as far as I know he's passed the medical and reports are that he has signed a personal contract and that the contract between the clubs has also been signed (transfer fee being exactly 1 million Euro) ...he'll wear #3 or #33 , that's what the media here is saying...

Long story short...the facts are: we won our 31st league title, 16 points ahead of the second team, we didn't lose a single game and then it all crashed down...the person in charge of the club right now is an unsuccessful politician known to ruin everything he touches...he came to the club about 2 years years ago , announcing that he will be representing a billionaire who is buying the club (Pramod Mittal) and promised a bright future and all that...it turns out the billionaire hasn't transferred money to the club and his whole interest was buying the biggest steel factory in Bulgaria and in the Balkans...so the politician has paid all transfers, wages and all that by credits and other types of loans...now, not being able to pay them back, we lost our license for the champions league and the rest of the international competitions...our rivals (levski sofia) who have great presence in terms of people in the Bulgarian football union took advantage of the situation, pushed the right buttons and here we are today, wondering if our club's gonna survive.......still, the main problem is the politician (Tomov) who is a great liar and has brought the greatest Bulgarian club to its knees...

One of his posts even referred to a story in the Daily Mirror and so we can rest assured that barmy76uk can definitely read. I trust barmy76uk implicitly, so if he says Tunchev is not going to sign for us I believe him absolutely and 100%.
