@Babylon - yeah, I've heard about Leicester in the past, it's a known club here, people in Bulgaria follow UK football a lot. Hopefully you guys will be back in the Premiership in a couple of years...if you keep signing players like Tunchev that day will come rather soon than later. I like your stadium, it's probably better than any stadium we have over here...

@Nathko - it's official, I saw him on TV, he's back in Bulgaria at the moment, he confirmed that he has signed with Leicester and said that playing in England is always great, regardless of the League he's playing in. So congratulations and good luck to our boy!

@lavrentis - cheers!

Woo hoo!!!!!

Thanks HT :scarf:

After following this transfer closely i am still concerned until it is officially unveiled.

It is very suspicious that CSKA captain and Bulgarian international 'Sasho' is to sign for us, especially when he was linked with Tottenham.

I'm sure he is going to be paid much more than the rest of the squad, which could be unsettling.

However, i'm optimistic about this signing.

Hopefully, Kish can help him settle quickly and improve his English.

Fingers crossed the signing is unveiled tomorrow!

BUT do you know if he is better than Hossein Kaebi from Iran?

Other than that this signing seems to be quite a coup, and I really hope that he succeeds with us.

Tunchev certainly thinks he has signed!

Sounds good, but if his name was Alex Thomas would people be excited.

Go back a year and read the Kaaebi topics well OTT.

I cant stop myself feeling good about this one though. Hope club annouce soon.

If Alex Thomas was captain of the team that won the league and would've qualified for the Champions League and had played 14 time over the last 2 year for his country maybe. :)

I am buzzing about this transfer if this goes through this would be an absolute steal. I'm still wary of this, the fact that he could be playing in the prem, been touted to spurs and that, but if we get him then our defence will be mean as. Also liking the fact that he is good from corners and set peices, something we definately need in this league! This will be the difference maker between success and failure this season! Mandaric must have a wand if he pulls this one out the bag!!

Sounds really promising.

But there is no point in getting to excited like most of you have said, we only have to look at last season when we signed the hottest prospect in Iranian football.

I can see a Bulgarian foxestalk starting in the near future if, or should i now say when, Tunchev signs for us.

Maybe we will get loads of hot Bulgarian girls at the walkers!!

Edit: The transfer has been confirmed on Wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleksandar_Tunchev

Which is precisely why this whole thing doesn't sit right with me at all.

To me it seems quite obvious he sees us as a stepping stone to greater things in England, If he helps us get out of this division at the first time of asking i couldnt care one bit. If he stays around longer even better.

Of course that all depends if he can adapt to english football.

Kaebi people - It's crazy to even mention him in comparison to Tunchev completly different in all ways. lol
