He basically made the film to point out how bad McDonalds is. I haven't seen it yet but will be watching hopefully.
Anish Posted 22 April 2005 Posted 22 April 2005 I've seen it - it is an excellent film. I would highly recommend it
Carlo Posted 22 April 2005 Posted 22 April 2005 Here Here Anish !!! It will make you think twice about Mcdonalds that's for sure

stez Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 mcdonalds is fine! and anyway if i were to eat nothing but cucumber for 30 days i'd be feeling pretty rank afterwards. still i'll be watching it
Les Doh Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 McDonalds (like most things) are perfectly fine in moderation, I think this film is a fine example of the dangers of excessiveness.
Bedford Fox Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 McDonalds (like most things) are perfectly fine in moderation, I think this film is a fine example of the dangers of excessiveness. 97410 Agreed
TrickyTrev Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 Warning! The concept and the idea beind the film is far more exciting than the film itself. It is extremely turgidly paced and not particuarly exciting to watch.
Alexikokopops Posted 23 April 2005 Posted 23 April 2005 I know McDonalds puts so much shit in its food, but I can't help but savour the distinct individual taste their hamburgers present.
Katy Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 Well, that made me feel a bit sick. 100377 Balls! I was going to watch it but my good samaritan duties meant I couldnt, oh well.
Louise Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 A lot of it was like Jamie's School Dinners if you watched that, of course the film came first but C4 obviously saw it was a concept they could use.
Nationwider Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 A good film, but as an occasional and responsible user of sausage & egg mcmuffins, it doesn't really change my feelings for the organisation or its food. Those parents that were passing McDonalds' meals to their kids through the school railings to their kids who wouldn't try Jamie Oliver's meals, however, deserve (and please excuse the non-PC tone), a ####ing good kicking.
Louise Posted 28 April 2005 Posted 28 April 2005 Was shocked at the amount of soft drinks some people had though, 'oh I only have 1/2 a gallon of coke a day, my husband has 2 gallons'
Cat Burger Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 Oh dear, when that guy was having the operation (you know, the fat one) I nearly Ralfed, I was eating at the time on my break. However I couldn't tear my eyes away from the screen cos I'm 'ard
Louise Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 That film made me want a McDonalds 100443
Babylon Posted 29 April 2005 Posted 29 April 2005 That film made me want a McDonalds 100443 DITTO!!! Up til the part they showed his puke.... put me off then!!!!
Matt Posted 29 April 2005 Author Posted 29 April 2005 I missed the first bit of the film - I was in McDonalds -No, not really, but I did miss part of the film I watched about the last 30 mins, The bit I saw, has changed some of my opinions about McDonalds but come on who didn't know McDonalds were bad before? I eat McDonalds quite abit but not excessivly, and watching what I did of this film isn't gonna put me off McDonalds....
