Carter The Boss Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Alright?! Just joined the forum, love all the posts so far I had a season ticket last year in L1 but couldnt afford it this year.. i drive up from London and couldnt afford the parking. Anyone know where i can park near the ground that doesnt cost £270 quid a season?!? Or free places for motorbikes?! Cheers
JoeyB Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 If your on a motorbike, their is a bike rack just behind L1. Speak toDaggers about it, tho as i know he uses it.
JoeyB Posted 29 January 2009 Posted 29 January 2009 Daggers. If you drop him a PM he should be able to tell you more about the bike. Parking, the people who i go with, park just off narbrough road.

Daggers Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Just for anyone else interested: There is a bicycle bay right next to J2. Bicycles and motorbikes are allowed to park there for free but it is worth getting in early. People pop their bikes up on the pavement sections too so that they are out of the way. After the match the exit is closed until the Community Support Officer decides that it's safe enough to leave. Some people push their bikes out to the road to a point where they can climb on and ride off...some people (after Brighton at home) get stopped by said volunteer man in blue and delayed pointlessly, not that this anonymous biker got in anyway angry or frustrated by it. Certainly no phrases involving the words "twat", "jobsworth" and "You are a fucking" were uttered.
The Doctor Posted 15 March 2010 Posted 15 March 2010 Quick question. Can i move to a different part of the ground when renewing for next season?
davieG Posted 15 March 2010 Posted 15 March 2010 Quick question. Can i move to a different part of the ground when renewing for next season? If you can find a seat not currently occupied by ST holder otherwise you have to wait until at least April 1st.
The Doctor Posted 15 March 2010 Posted 15 March 2010 If you can find a seat not currently occupied by ST holder otherwise you have to wait until at least April 1st. cheers. looks like i'll be waiting then since L1 is ST only.
davieG Posted 15 March 2010 Posted 15 March 2010 cheers. looks like i'll be waiting then since L1 is ST only. I thought there were lots of spaces in there, although I guess not up the back and to the right.
john_lcfc Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 If you get to saffron lane before 1:30-145pm then its free to park in the bus lanes all the way down and about 300 cars to this every game fills up though by around 2pm....
Sods Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 If i drive its always the side streets of narbourgh road for me.
