Corky Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 Or possibly the people in the Kop could still create an atmosphere where they are now? No?
maddog Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/movethekop/ Signed it. Although obviously it won't happen and fans who sit in the current Kop wont all move across i dont think. Nah. No Davie.
DB11 Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 I don't think it would work because current STH in the Family Stand would remain in the same seat thus not many places for people to move to
JakeShingler Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 I don't think it would work because current STH in the Family Stand would remain in the same seat thus not many places for people to move to Hope it Works
davieG Posted 11 February 2009 Author Posted 11 February 2009 It should be move the Family Membership not move the Kop.

Daggers Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 I don't think it would work because current STH in the Family Stand would remain in the same seat thus not many places for people to move to Seeing as they'll all lose their seats for not renewing by 3am tomorrow morning, or whenever the dumbass deadline is, it hardly matters.
BoneDog Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 What I wanna know is which lightbulb decided to put the away fans next to the family stand in the first place?
Corky Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 What I wanna know is which lightbulb decided to put the away fans next to the family stand in the first place? Mr T Watts (40)
Shrenchel Posted 11 February 2009 Posted 11 February 2009 What I wanna know is which lightbulb decided to put the away fans next to the family stand in the first place? Probably the same one that had to pay all the fines imposed because of the kop pelting the away fans with shrapnel.
Southern Fox Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I went to sign the petition but had to pay for the privildge. Is that right???
Houdini Logic Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Why would you want to move the Kop? Surely it's location makes it the Kop? Why not move the away fans?
Shrenchel Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I went to sign the petition but had to pay for the privildge. Is that right??? No. It records it anyway. That website is just tryna to beg a tenner for itself. Why would you want to move the Kop? Surely it's location makes it the Kop? Why not move the away fans? H&S, The police etc have a problem with the away fans being moved because then they'd have to walk round the stadium to get home and we'd inevitabley use that 2 minute walk to smash the the living shit into every single one of those pathetic "away fans".

I find it hard to believe that every club in England has a ground that works on this principle
Jimmy Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 I find it hard to believe that every club in England has a ground that works on this principle no but our Safety Advisory Group is 1 of the worst in the country
davieG Posted 12 February 2009 Author Posted 12 February 2009 I find it hard to believe that every club in England has a ground that works on this principle They don't but if they could have they would, now that we have it they're not going to change it.
lavrentis Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 Do you think emailing this petition to Peter Jones might help?
Lovejoy Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 But 80% of Kopites aren't interested in doing anything other than sitting and moaning anyway. Nice idea, but a no goer in reality.
izzetafox? Posted 12 February 2009 Posted 12 February 2009 http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/movethekop/ This actually might be more likely than you think...i know its been mentioned alot and nothing happened but one of my colleagues had a meeting with the BIG promotions people who are working with the club now and one of the things they mentioned is that alot of families are staying away from the wlakers becease the family stand is next to the away fans and they get lots of abuse so i think they are looking into moving it! a side from that they also did a survey in the town and something like only 10% of people could name the manager and most could not name 1 player!!, i think we might be seeing some changes soon with this new company

The idea of anyone not going to the walkers because the atmosphere is too abusive and intimidating seems bizarre though. Makes you wonder how the thousands of kids survived at Filbo through the years, they probably all grew up to be murderers and sex pest no doubt.

Yes hopefully this might be a good sign, we will have to wait and see, to be honest, as i think you saw yesterday when i posted on another thread i can see why being right next to some away fans could be intimidating for some people that side of the family stand. I do think its a bit silly having family stand next to away fans.
