Lillehamring Posted 15 February 2009 Posted 15 February 2009 i had a stinker. woke up at 5am had to drag luggage thru snow in -20 degrees massive queue at security at airport missus spent ages buying stuff so had to run for plane and missed transit bus get next bus and get on plane 5 minutes before it is due to leave 5 minutes after it is due to leave, flight is cancelled due to broken plane stand up to get off plane and smash head on roof of plane (still sore 2 days later) go back in airport and have to go through security again. get searched and have arse felt have water bought in the airport taken off me have to queue for 45 mins to find out when we can get another plane find out it will be in 6 hours and going to heathrow not london city go to eat and find hot food not available for an hour finally on plane get stuck next to big fat posh bloke on a really uncomfortable chair wait ages for bags to come off carousel and find they had been sitting in a pile just behind us decide to take heathrow express only to discover it is not 6.90 but 16.90 so have to take the slower commuter-full heathrow connect pay £4 to travel 5 stops on the tube arrive at st.pancras in rush hour... ...and then, amazingly, a nice woman lets us get the train even tho our tickets were for another. finally arrive in leicester at 8pm so, no worries about friday 13th
