I may been discriminative subconsciously but nothing malicious as the utter racism Jade Goody is known for. I understand people don't like her et all, but I just don't see the need for all these horrific comments about her. I don't really care about her. She's just another slag who's dying of cancer which is unfortunate, but the vile comments about her is really unnecessary. She's not racist,she's just thick. Is calling a woman whos dying of cancer a slag not a horrific or vile comment? This is the sort of material you would find on WACCOE.

Jade Goody is a nasty, vicious little woman you only care about because of this country's absolute obsession with celebrities. She's just one of thousands who will die of cancer this year and people want to shed faux tears to appear sympathetic. Meanwhile hundreds of innocents are dead in Oz and how many of you posting in here actually care? Or feel any genuine sadness? You're the most prolific poster in this thread... But seriously my issue with the whole thing is the way it's being drawn out in the public. Money should not have anything to do with it. She already has enough to secure her children's futures. I don't see how what she's doing will benefit them at all, who knows what emotional damage will be caused in later life when they read the very public life and death of their mother. That said, some of the abuse she's getting is bizarrely aggressive.

I for one enjoyed watching her on BB and she was probably one of the best to enter the house for entertainment value. Jade to me comes across as a very loving mother to her children, who would do anything in the world for them (as most mothers would), so i don't blame her for trying to secure their future by any means possible in her last few months. I hope she has a great wedding day and enjoys whatever time she has left.

Why individuals express such malicious thoughts to a person in her position is beyond me They mainly fall into two categories - those trying to make or maintain a reputation and those that are just plain thick She's someone who has made a lot of money out of little or no talent, probably through puppeteers such as Clifford pulling the strings so as others have said that's hardly going to change now. More at fault is the thick British public who lap up endless celebrity tripe and thereby create the market for the likes of Miss Goody to prosper. So I've no truck with those readers of Hello and O.K and those who make a habit of watching the variants of celebrity bollocks on T.V who now carp at her making money. I imagine that one of the worst fates in life is to die without seeing your children through to independence. To revel at her situation smacks of malice or ignorance. It's right that the sense of sorrow for her is disproportionate in relation to the many tragic events in the world on a daily basis but isn't that caused by the celebrity culture that makes many feel that they know her and that the loss is personal to them.Wasn't this best emphasised by the death of Diana and the irrational outporing of public grief at that time ? As for Jade Goody , as I don't know her I don't feel personal sympathy but to the extent that it's been brought to my attention I sympathise with the circumstances she is in.

Fair play to her for securing her children's future, through choice I doubt she would want to be plastered all over the front pages. I wouldn't wish that horrible disease on anyone. I don't like the reason for her becoming famous though (i.e. racist...i know she was famous before that, but the racism row is what i'll remember the most) I'm special I don't read 4 pages Don't? or can't??

Probably the last she can do to provide for her children as she is in a hospital she cant do the basic things as a Mum and even dress her kids. When she was once a 'high statused celeb', no she wont but she is doing it for her Children's and Husband's future. Yes I do think she wants the attention and to be splashed all over the front pages of the national rags which makes it all the more indignatious. As previously mentioned other cancer sufferers of Jade Goodys status have made good of their situation by raising awareness, not in one single Jade Goody article have I read about cancer charities or any form of good, just the big fat thick layabout and her con boyfriends ugly mugs upset due to their fame coming to an abrupt end. People like Jade Goody make me wonder why I graft hard for silly hours every week and get paid jack shit, she does absolutely nothing along with her wretched family and she's still grabbing every last penny off a horrific ordeal like this, i just find it wrong.

You can hardly blame her for making all of that dosh, she is talentless, thick and plain annoying but the public still brought her books and DVD's. It is the people in this country that have made her a self proclaimed "star" and it is the people in this country who are now obsessed with her (near) death. I feel sorry for her boys, I am not that harsh to say that I don't because I have been the boy who has lost his parent and I know what pain that causes I hope in all of this publicity that it raises even more awareness and helps fight this killer.

After all, it can be seen as being rather tacky, I disagree with that view but I understand it. Some of the aggression and hatred poured on her is something I find rather more difficult to understand. Somebody has said that this thread is the kind of thing you'd see on the Leeds forum, and I'm inclined to agree. I honestly do not see what she has done to warrant the kind of posts made by some on this thread. If it was a vile murderer like Ian Huntley or Rose West, I could understand. But a 27 year old mother to two young children who has never been anything other than tabloid fodder? She has made mistakes, and she did bully Shilpa Shetty in Celebrity Big Brother (who wasn't the Mother Teresa like figure the tabloids painted her as) but I would appreciate an explanation as to why some on this forum are gloating and eagerly awaiting her death, as it's all getting a bit WACCOE.

Signing up for a sweepstake is a bit different to referring to her as 'another slag dying of cancer' and stating that she should 'do something useful and fertilise the fooking flowers'. There's a difference between dark humour and unwarranted personal attacks. I appreciate a sick and twisted joke as much as anybody (probably more) but there is a really unpleasant undercurrent here that I just don't understand. I'm no Jade fan and I can't see for the life of me why she's still famous, but that doesn't mean she deserves some of the venom directed towards her here.

No. Really, if someone is offended stuff like that they should consider avoiding the internet altogether.
