Manwell Pablo Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 She has months to live apparently. Annoying as she is I don't think I'd wish dying of cervical cancer on my worst enemy. Feel quite bad know as I was quite cynical when she got it, thought it would of easily operable tumour which she was making out to be worse than it was. Makes you think really as she's only three years older than me, I know I'm not likely to get Cervical cancer anytime soon but still.

I don't like her as a person, especially after the race row in BB, but I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone. After seeing the pictures in newspapers, I genuinely felt sorry for her and even more so for her kids. I'd hate to be in that situation.

Posted 16 February 2009 Posted 16 February 2009 As bad as I feel for anyone who has to ensure something like this my overriding thought whenever I hear about Jade Goody is how f**ked up it is to have the whole thing plastered over the front pages of newspapers. Is there no such thing as dignity?

I have zero respect for this woman and even more so for grabbing every last penny off this ordeal however like many have said I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

On the question of ethics, she's the person who is dying and therefore she should have the right to decide what is or isn't ethical in her situation. If the money she gets from selling her story helps her family after she's gone, then it can't be such a bad thing really.

She's already conned the best part of over a million pounds for being famous by acting an arsehole and a racist. Why do her or her scumbag family deserve any more money?

Well they're losing their Mum which I somewhat doubt all the money in the world could replace. ....and it's not a matter of deserving is it, people want to read it, she wants to sell it to provide for her family. She giving people what they want and she's getting paid for it. I got fed up with her being front page news every other month but I can tolerate this, end of the day in a few months she wont ever be front page news again.

I replaced my mother with a wife, and that is working out better than expected. Not only do I still get my stuff washed and food cooked but she doesn't hurt me as much when she demands sex. It all goes a bit pear-shaped when my mum comes to visit though.

If my mother was dieing of cancer I wouldn't want to see her plight splashed all over the national press and it being her choice to do it makes it all the more disgraceful. Look at Kylie when she was suffering from Breast cancer, famous the world over yet chose to undergo treatment away from the cameras. Do you think she is thinking of her kids in that sense? She is already worth a heck of a lot more money than any of us will make in our lifetime and the chances are we will have kids at some point and a family to support.

Who's to say she's not donating the money she receives to a Cancer Charity Seems plausible to me.

Yes, it's sad, but why she should be highlighted for more sympathy than others is beyond me. At least she had her 15 seconds of fame.

Clifford holds the strings there and as the Beckhams found out if you push yourself into the spotlight then you cant turn away from it. I feel for Goody. The cancer spread to her stomach and liver which is what happened to my Mum. Diagnosed four years ago they have been controlling it since but cant beat it. They told her she had months but has fought it for four years now. Unfortunately she has been losing the battle of late. I just hope Goody has as good a doctor looking after her as my Mum has had.

As said it aint really something she can control and she hasn't even announced this it's Clifford, please see title. And Kyle makes her money through singing where as Goody makes her money through publisty i.e being in the papers due to her complete lack of talent. So it's pretty obvious that she'd try and make some money out of this, seeing as she's dying I think fair enough. In any case I don't think anyone is going to deny she was an annoying, racist, at times outright moronic Humanbeing I just think it's shocking she's dying at the age 27. Really does make you think.

But I guess you can hardly blame her, she has exploited the opportunity for a good life. I was very annoyed about the way she was constantly in the newspapers talking about her cancer, I have first hand experience caring for and losing my Dad through this damn awful disease and watched the pain and suffering of our entire family and I thought the way she was doing this in the public domain was wrong. I guess I can now understand that she just wants to make enough money for her boys future. I really feel for her and would never wish this on anybody.
