Jade Goody Dying according to Max Clifford

The whole things a joke.

Ridiculous how in a flash the media and loads of the public switches from vilifying her for being a fame hungry moronic racist disabled to getting all sympathetic and sentimental about her because shes got cancer.

Thousands of people are dying of cancer, most of them probably aren't complete pricks. Of course I dont wish it on anyone and Id rather she didnt but Id be lying if I said I feel any real sadness about it.

Think you'll find that isn't totally the case on this thread...

I couldn't give a fuck about her illness and I'll not be giving a rat's arse about her in death. Obnoxious, thick racist cunt that she is - having a finite time left doesn't change that.

Having children doesn't mean the world has to tip-toe around and start pretending to like the vapid slapper. I couldn't give a toss if her sons saw this post, and seeing as one is five and the other is four I highly doubt they could read it considering the gene pool they were formed from...and her family isn't widely known for being a bunch of City fans so don't we think that scenario is a little more than far-fetched?

Point me in the direction of someone I care about who is suffering and maybe I'd feel a bit more sympathetic. But her? She only evokes the response that we should open a sweep.

Nicely said mate, i know you've been critisised for this but good on you.

No. Because she's presented herself as a complete and utter twat from start to finish of her "career" in the limelight she gets no sympathy from me for dying. People die, that's life.

I feel for her children, I really do - but quite frankly I'd feel for them were she going to live. It's hardly much of a head start in life being Jade Goody's kids, is it?

I am sorry, I really am, that I come across as unpleasant - but I would quite sooner invest my heartache in a cause that's really worth it then shed a single crocodile tear for some twat none of us actually like for no other reason than she's one of the one-in-ten or whatever it is that will be affected by cancer.

I'm happy to be known as a bastard. I will not be known as a hypocrite.

If only quote of the week was still running.

Almost twice as many people have read this thread than one about the loss of over a hundred lives in Australia.

This is pretty much everything I find wrong about this. Jade Goody is a nasty, vicious little woman you only care about because of this country's absolute obsession with celebrities. She's just one of thousands who will die of cancer this year and people want to shed faux tears to appear sympathetic.

Meanwhile hundreds of innocents are dead in Oz and how many of you posting in here actually care? Or feel any genuine sadness?

And also if were not mourning vile, nasty and obnioxus people we aren't going to care about the death on 170 Aussies are we.

(sorry Australian posters, just a joke)

I'm sure most of us don't care. What's the motivation though for the bizarre agressive abuse? All i can put it down to is attention seeking. :dunno:

If this is true, and subsequent posts have proved that, why even bother posting in this topic? Fair enough if you dont give a toss, everyones entitled to an opinion, but I don't believe the thread was started for people to start having a bash.

You nor I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone so lets just leave it at that.

If you want to offer your sympathy or condolences regarding her cancer specifically then fine but dont start spouting rubbish to shock and wind-up....

Dunno, seemed quite obvious it was going to happen, the person who started probably knew it would turn into a mass slagging session. :giggle:

Dear O Dear

You Moron. I don't like her, but to go that far is disgusting.

Imagine if the same happened to your wife/girlfriend? I'm sure you would expect plenty of sympathy like Jade should be getting. You've got a screw loose.

If that isn't racism then what is??

Calling someone Shilpa Poppadom is clearly racist. Replacing her surname with a food from Indian origin in a purposefully insulting way is definitely racist.

Fair enough if she couldn't pronounce the surname properly, but this clearly wasn't the case.

And that was one of many cases of RACISM in the BB house.

We aren't bandying it around so flippantly either to score debating points. It's just the truth.

Fair enough if that's what you think. But why, then, did Shilpa Shetty came out afterwards and clearly state that Jade Goody was no racist, just a loud mouthed bully.

And it was Jade's mother who couldn't pronounce her name. With her abysmal accent it's no wonder why. Where racism comes into that only you can explain.

Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara were, in my opinion, guilty of overt racist comments but it is Goody that took the full blame.

Also, there was a 14 minute argument where Shetty was also baiting Goody regarding her accent and upbringing . Goody lost her rag and that's the part which became legend and did for her.

No, amazingly.

What exactly is your problem?

That I called her vapid?

That I called her a ****?

That I said she is thick?

That I said I didn't care about her illness?

That I'll not miss her when she's gone?

That I called her a racist?

That I called her a slapper?

That I called into question her children's gene pool lottery win?

...or that I posited that I (and everyone else) would be best served by caring about something of more importance?

Tick them off and get back to me as I still stand by each of the above as a truism.

I didn't express my happiness or delight that she has cancer - my mother-in-law died after a protracted battle with the disease across a two-year period, it is a disgusting and horrible way to die.

So, what exactly is your problem?

:o Why the faux indignation for let's be honest, your original post was made exactly with the intention of getting a reaction. A denial of that is either mendacious or I've credited you with more intelligence than you deserve.

Forgive me for declining your invitation to deal with your post by way of a selectively piecemeal analysis.

I do so for two reasons ; firstly , you clearly have detailed knowledge of Ms Goody ,no doubt acquired from scavenging the likes of Hello and OK and tuning in to each episode of "Jade Goody Eats ,Shits and Sleeps" as shown on Living T.V. I have not studied her life to the same depth as you and so am in no position to espouse her virtues or condemn her vices, but in any event that's not what this is about. Secondly, a selectively piecemeal approach to the post would fail to do it justice. The malice and venom just doesn't come across so powerfully as when the post is taken as a whole. But just for your information the stand out part is the comments about her kids which seem to be curiously lacking from your checklist.

For me the real interest in the original post is that it tells me far more about you than it does her. I ask myself why would someone who has children and a personal experience of cancer be so vitriolic about a person who is of no consequence to them? The only rational answer that I can suggest is this - to enhance their own sense of minor celebrity on this forum.

So don't be surprised that people have responded to your original post; that was the desired effect after all. And if you're offended by their response then perhaps you should adopt the advice so sagely given by you at post 100 of this thread - "Really , if someone is offended (by) stuff like that they should consider avoiding the internet altogether.

Tbh if my wife died the last thing I'd want is condescending, fake sympathy from total strangers

My opinion can be summed up in two lines -

She doesn't deserve to die.

She doesn't deserve this attention.

What he said... ^ ^ ^

In all honesty, I really don't care about it that much at all. :| If that makes me grossly insensitive, then so be it.

Yes, she is ignorant and yes she has milked her fame and yes I wish I never saw her mug again but all this hate and wanting her dead is totally unnecessary!!

She is a product of a 'system', the system of creating fame and celebrities from nothing and milking the people of there cash!! And for her being so thick, she's bloody done particularly well and we as the public should be ashamed of giving her this spot light!!

On her dying, she has kids and no child should be without there mother!!!

I agree with every word

My Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in November 2007. He was given 6 months max and was with us until the early hours of the 23rd June 2008.

It is the worst experience of my life. The one person I looked up to for everything and was always there if I needed advice and helped me out throughout my childhood and early adult life. The only thing I could do was look after him, which I did as best as I could.

This really brings me to what I wanted to say which is, there was no media coverage of my Dad's death. We made no money from it. So why should I have sympathy for someone who I have never met who really acted at times during her life that I found disgraceful? Why should I feel anything for her plight when she knew nothing of my Dad's?

Well, I do. I can't help it. Dying does not make you a good person all of a sudden. However, could you imagine the thoughts going through your head when you are told you are soon going to be dead? Never seeing the ones you love again. Not to mention her kids - the moment I was told my Dad was dying, I did not cry I was in a state of shock. My eyes filled with water and it just poured all over my dinner that I was eating at the time. I then had to tell my brother when he got in from work the news. And I was 24! They are just small children.

And now, 8 months on from losing my dad, I still have not got over it. There is a massive void in my life that cannot be filled, ever. I will never see him again, go for a pint with him again, go to the cricket with him. This is not a personal cry for sympathy, it is now my life and I shall deal with it. However, please think before you crucify someone who may have annoyed you at moments in life, for being in the paper whilst dying. Think of how her family will feel when she's gone and then how she feels right now. She has never murdered anyone and never done anything horrific, so while she may not deserve or get your sympathy, to actively berate her is not right. Just leave her be.
