OriginalRobboFOX Posted 20 February 2009 Author Posted 20 February 2009 Didn't he return tho, about £8k out of pocket??? Didn't he also mention something about making 20-20 cricket the most popular sport in the world?

He loved the gambling, that's all I rememeber. Luuuuuuuurrrrved the gamble. Combine that with an ailing market for his shop and I'm going to guess he's gone bust and has other worries than whether vicars should be allowed to drink drive and take seventeen wives. And I'll bet on that, I want 4/1
fox123 Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 Did Manwell ever get his wii from the competition in this thread?
Alexikokopops Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 Did people actually give him any money? I don't think so. I didn't. He got a signed shirt off the club though, and a Wii from somewhere.
Tommy G Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 Did people actually give him any money? Yeh £6,000, still can't get over how stupid I was
fox123 Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 I remember having a few conversations about gambling and poker... but don't remember that competition that well... I don't understand how someone with nothing to gain (financially) would go to the length of trouble he did (judging by the thread I posted), only to do one a few days after it finished.

Zingari Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 people do these things if no deterrents are in place; just ask yourself , would he have done it if he was facing a few years in the bangkok hilton ? well , would he ?
Master Fox Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 Lost all of his money putting 10 and 50 pence pieces into those coin scooper/pusher machines they have at arcades. You know how addictive they are, so you can imagine that with someone who has a gambling addiction these machines are bloodsuckers. Those machines destroy lives all over the world. Crazy. I heard now that since losing his life’s fortune in Croydon’s bingo hall arcade, he’s now had no other alternative but to resort to male prostitution. Apparantly he’s quite a playa on the gay scene, does all sorts of crazy sexual favours for as little as £10. But I hear he’s enjoying his new found profession, he’s also making quite a bit money too.

Koke Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 I do remember that competition he set up. I didn't give him anything, so what exactly did he get away with? So where is he? I know he loved gambling, but not to the extend where he could become an addict, I don't think so.
