Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 I reckon it will be something like: Forde (Millwall) Gilbert (Leicester) Lewington (MK Dons) Hazell (Oldham) Zakuani (Peterborough) King (Leicester) Oakley (Leicester) Leven (MK Dons) Delph (Leeds) Fryatt (Leicester) Beckford (Leeds) Not saying I would agree with that but that's what I reckon they will go for. Harsh on a few players - Taylor at Oldham, Whitbread at Millwall, Lambert at Bristol Rovers and the three Posh chaps up front.
Finnegan Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Hobbs has been getting a lot of media time, wouldn't surprise me to see him nominated and Gilbert not.
Cobbo Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 How many games out of the 46 would you have to play? Cos the Tunch is by far the best centre half in the league and played as such but the injury may have cost him...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 March 2009 Author Posted 2 March 2009 I'm throwing it out there - Delph is wank. He's overrated but he's still a good player, if not the £6million+ player he's hyped up to be. I'd be surprised if he didn't make it in though. Can't see Tunch getting in. You'd need to play a good 30+ games I'd imagine.
Bert Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Eardley from Oldham should almost certainly be in there..
J.Lisemore Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Delph - Overrated. Linked with a 10 million move to Man Utd in the paper not long ago...Pfftt!! Gk - Willy Gueret LB - Dean Lewington CB - Jack Hobbs CB - G.Zakuani RB - Neil Eardley LM - Andy Robinson CM - Andy King CM - Peter Leven RM - Matt Oakley ST - Matty Fryatt ST - Lee Hughes
Bert Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Here's mine..... Gueret - MK Dons Eardley - Oldham Hobbs - Leicester Zaukani - P'boro Gregan - Oldham Delph - Leeds Oakley - Leicester Robinson - Leeds Boyd - P'boro Fryatt - Leicester Lambert - Bristol Rovers
Cobbo Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 I'd go with a 4-3-3 to get beckford, lambert and fryatt in there.
Bert Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 It seems as Lisemore done a bit of a copy job on mine and Fez's, with the exception of one different player.
Finnegan Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Eardley from Oldham should almost certainly be in there.. Agreed. Certainly ahead of Gilbert, I think your back four looks about right.
Bert Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Agreed. Certainly ahead of Gilbert, I think your back four looks about right. Yeah, I didn't know whether to put in Gregan or Lewington.
Ultra Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Forde (Millwall) Gilbert (Leicester) Whitbread (Millwall) Tunchev (Leicester) Jackman (Northampton) Oakley (Leicester) Goodwin (Huddersfield) Delph (Leeds) Taylor (Oldham) McLean (Peterborough) Cox (Swindon)
J.Lisemore Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 It seems as Lisemore done a bit of a copy job on mine and Fez's, with the exception of one different player. Oops, ive only just realised
JakeShingler Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 ST - Lee Hughes Cunt It seems as Lisemore done a bit of a copy job on mine and Fez's, with the exception of one different player. Didn't you copy him?
MC Prussian Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Williams (Stockport) Eardley (Oldham) Whitbread (Millwall) Hobbs (Leicester) O'Hanlon (MK Dons) Leven (MK Dons) Boyd (Peterborough) King (Leicester) Taylor (Oldham) Fryatt (Leicester) Lambert (Bristol Rovers)
Bert Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Didn't you copy him? Have a look at the time he edited his post.
C-man Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 I don't know who'll be in it, but one thing is for sure: They'll be far too many Leeds players in it than deserve to be.
Corky Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 I don't know who'll be in it, but one thing is for sure: They'll be far too many Leeds players in it than deserve to be. Yep.
welck12 Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 I don't know who'll be in it, but one thing is for sure: They'll be far too many Leeds players in it than deserve to be. I cant see them having more than 1 player; either beckford or delph depending on the formation. If its 4-4-2, then its delph, but 4-3-3 to get beckford in with lambert and fryatt then delph will miss out
crafty fox Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 my strongest chioces for each posistion would be... gk; joe lewis, p.boro, just for the england call up he is a strong contender. defender, lewington mk dons, looked class apart when he played down here . midfield, andy king solid all season plenty of goals too. striker, howard will get it
morris1234 Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 there are a lot to choose from but heres mine. Martin (Leicester) Gilbert (Leicester) Whitbread (Millwall) Hobbs (Leicester) Jackman (Northampton) Boyd (Peterborough) Oakley (Leicester) Leven (MK Dons) Taylor (Oldham) Lambert (Bristol Rovers) Fryatt (Leicester) EDIT: WOOPS,wishful thinking and all that
Sir Fynwy Posted 3 March 2009 Posted 3 March 2009 Table never lies, team of the year = Leicester City. I love all these tv and newspaper pundits with their team picks, just a waste of time and paper.
