Matt Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Oh dear lord did anyone else get stuck in morisons car park today.....i was in the car at 5:10 left the car park at 6:40....thank fook we won 4-0....and what was so different about today its usually empty even when tigers are playing. Normally even if Tigers are playing on the same day as us there is quite a big gap between both game starting/finishing isn't there? Today there was a gap of only 10 minutes between both game apparently. I'm surprised we didn't have to move our game to suit the Tigers TBH, We usually do, even when they play at our stadium we have to move to accommodate them.
DB11 Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Maybe people parked there because they were were, urm, shopping?
AjcW Posted 7 March 2009 Author Posted 7 March 2009 Yh mate im sure they were but for it to take nearly two hours was mental.... was just wondering if anyone new what this issue was as i usually get out of there no problem in ten minutes.
Daggers Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Am I the only one feeling let down by the thread title and the 74 minutes I have been on the phone to Ticket Master trying to obtain an annual pass?
AjcW Posted 7 March 2009 Author Posted 7 March 2009 Am I the only one feeling let down by the thread title and the 74 minutes I have been on the phone to Ticket Master trying to obtain an annual pass? Oh daggers u have just made the hours i had to wait in that traffic jam worthwhile haha..... sorry to disappoint but morrisons are not joining the porn industry just yet.
Alf Bentley Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Am I the only one feeling let down by the thread title and the 74 minutes I have been on the phone to Ticket Master trying to obtain an annual pass? Let down? No, relieved! I saw the title and assumed that a promising young LCFC centre back had got over-excited about today's performance and been caught in flagrante in a 1-person act of gross indecency in Victoria Park...relieved to find it ain't so!

You shouldn't park there for longer than 90 mins on a matchday anyway so you can hardly moan about it.
Daggers Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Let down? No, relieved! That, so I believe from the literature I have read, is the purpose of Morrison's Wank Park.
AjcW Posted 8 March 2009 Author Posted 8 March 2009 You shouldn't park there for longer than 90 mins on a matchday anyway so you can hardly moan about it. I was trying to get off Freemans Common industrial estate for 45 mins and then the roads were just as bad. Fooking nightmare.
Daggers Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Motorbikes rule. I was back in Birmingham before you lot left car parks
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Just park a bit further away. It's always the same.
Matt Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I used to park in a compound near Bentleys for £5, but recently I have been parking on the road by the garages, just near the Nissan/Fiat garage. Free and quite easy to get out, there is traffic but its not as bad as around the Royal Infirmary/Tigers ground.

What a twat - only because your dad is a car park attendant () doesn't mean you know all there is to know! There is a sign when you go into the car park telling you that you can't park there longer than 90 mins on a match day. I park there when I go to the games as well but I don't moan when it takes me ages to get out because I know I shouldn't really park there in the first place.

That's even worse What are you on about mate. im having a discussion with this other clown...i dont think there is any need for you to come in and criticise his job when u dont know him or me and i havent even said anything to you.
City Fan Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 'Chief' parking attendant then? That's even worse He's probably one of the car park attendants at Morrison's - hence why he parks there.....
AjcW Posted 8 March 2009 Author Posted 8 March 2009 Wow the intelligence levels in here are shocking. I only started this thread to ask if anyone new what the specific issue was today and for some reason its turned into me getting abuse so can one of the leaders close it please. Thank you.
