Wiki says her parents emigrated from Azad Kashmir, a place in Pakistan, although it is right on the border of India.

And her husband converted to Islam.

Other than that there isn't much indication to her being Indian or Pakistani.

Margaret isn't in next year's Apprentice.

Meanwhile, Margaret Mountford, Sir Alan's adviser on The Apprentice, has revealed the current series will be her last in her Daily Telegraph column.

She is leaving to concentrate on her PhD at University College London.

"I never had any desire for fame or TV stardom but I've enjoyed discovering the world of making television, and all the very hard-working people in it," she told the newspaper.

Referring to her colleague Nick Hewer, she added: "I will miss being part of the Nick 'n' Margaret combination (he likens it to fruit and nut!)".

Also, some of the editing for Wednesday's episode was misleading regarding Yasmina's interview. After the interview with Claude (the guy who checked her finances) Yasmina was shown to have enjoyed that interview even though she was grilled for providing wrong and incorrect financial statements. But her reaction to it - saying it went well and enjoying it - was actually a reaction to a different interview.

Yeah I remember thinking that was abit odd. Heard on the radio today though the editors apoligised for it.

Yeah. Yasmina said she wasn't mad or angry at the editors/producers. She just wanted to clarify the situation.

I do remember saying 'oh what a sneaky bitch' when I saw it on Wednesday lol.

Yeah.......... we were all laughing and thought she was just game-playing - though her body language was totally the opposite to what she was saying

Yasmina or Kate :dunno:

Neither of them are really good, infact most of the candidates this series haven't been great. Yasmina's bought smartprice from Asda and Kate's good looking so no one takes her into the boardroom.

James should have won, purely for entertainment.

Not only are the contestants getting worse - They seem to get rid of decent ones and keep the ones they think will boost ratings rather than on their abilities. Still love the programme though... we just look at it as a Game show now more than him really seriously looking for an Apprentice.

I thought that was strange. I thought she was just saying that it went well so everyone else thought she was doing well and to not show any weakness.

Where's that poll from?

Here

On the right hand side.

I watched the apprentice right from the start when it was on BBC 2, 4-5 years ago, and the contestants have definitely got worse. Tim won the first series think he left after a year to run his own male grooming business, Michelle 'used to work in kwiksave' won the 2nd series, she then got pregnant by Sayid :giggle:, but unfortunately had a miscarriage so she left after a year. Simon from Oxbridge won the next one he did the funny thing with that trampoline on the TV task, and Lee 'lied on his cv' awful dinosaur impression won the last series. So id say the winners have got slightly worse, but think Simon and Lee still work for him.

Still good to watch though.

Just thought I'd let you all know the final is tonight and not on Wednesday. No idea why, I only just found out myself, so I figured I'm probably nto on my own with that...

England are playing on Wednesday so they didn't want it to clash with the Apprentice. Most people would turn to watch England, so the Apprentice would get lower viewers than normal.

I knew it was Sunday but I thought it wouldn't be brought forward therefore would be NEXT Sunday :o

Good job I read this thread :sweating:

Just to let you know, Kate should win :). She's fitter than Yasmina, so she should win.

Sir Alan strikes me as someone who would appreciate a hot blonde working for him.
