lavrentis Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Kate was really good and confident with her delivery. Good advert as well. Yasmina was good also.
Matt Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I thought Kate would win anyway, but Kate seems to have totally outclassed Yasmina, I expected abit more from Yasmina tbh. Yasmina's advert was poor, from reactions the sweets ain't the best, the only positives to Yasmina's product is the price and the box looks great. Think Kate's got this in the bag now.
AoWW Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Kate's teeth are exceptionally white. Her lipgloss looks super slimy though. She seems really uncomfortable in it as she keeps doing odd things with her lips. (No smutty comments necessary!!!)
Fox You Forest Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Sir Alan isn't stupid, he doesn't mix business with pleasure.
Matt Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Well in the last week i've been saying I thought Yasmina would be the better winner with more knowledge and experience because of her business experience, but that I thought Kate would win, and the task tonight made me think Kate would win even more, but Congratulations to Yasmina.
Fosse Boy Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Kate didn't exactly sell herself well in that final boardroom push. Either would have done a deserved winner.
Katy Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Kate didn't exactly sell herself well in that final boardroom push. Either would have done a deserved winner. I thought Yasmina had way more time to sell herself than Kate had.
Granno Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Well done Yasmina, just edged it overall. 2 bloody good candidates there, and I'm sure Kate will go far, hopefully posing in lads mags.
Asha Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I'm sure Kate will go far, hopefully posing in lads mags. Ohhhhhh yeah. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Koke Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 That American bitch is really getting on my tits now. I can't quite understand the constant digs she's having at Phillip. She's 10x uglier than Phil will ever be.
Tevez Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Well done Yasmina, just edged it overall. 2 bloody good candidates there, and I'm sure Kate will go far, hopefully posing in lads mags. Amen.
Nod.E Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Yasmina Siadatan - She went to Iran. She ad a tan, but now she hasn't.
Scow Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 This is the first series I've watched of The Apprentice and I found myself bemused by the general quality of candidates. How on earth did James make the final five? He could barely string a sentence together. Just a complete idiot, Good for him that he knew how a telephone worked. I can't be arsed to comment on the rest apart from the other two finalists because I can't understand how they could ever be viewed as 'top business prospects'. (This is not to say Kate or Yasmina could ever be considered that either.) Kate, for me, was the clear winner. She had performed consistently throughout the competition, displaying the all round qualities required, along with a level of composure to demonstrate her superiority over the others. Yasmina? Well, she had her own business, funded by her mother’s re-mortgage. Fine, she made a profit, but any director (and one that has 'business acumen') unaware of a basic level of accountancy, and the workings of Company House, should not even be considered for a supposedly high level business position. Apart from her low budget, low quality careering task in Week 2, I can't see what else she did. I'd still do them though.

General Smuts Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 Well done Yasmina, just edged it overall. 2 bloody good candidates there, and I'm sure Kate will go far, hopefully posing in lads mags. Me and my mates have been willing her to lose for weeks just so that this can happen. Excellent news. Where did Yasmina's massive chebs come from last night? Completely threw me as i'd missed them every other episode!
Shrenchel Posted 8 June 2009 Posted 8 June 2009 Kate was robbed, but yeah hopefully she'll do a bit of FHM now, followed by one of them 'oh look someone's leaked a sex tape of me, just when everyone was beggining to forget I existed!' Thought both their chocolate ideas were pretty good to be honest, showed why they were in the final. Remember when that disabled designed that building that looked like a large throbbing cock for the final task?!
StanSP Posted 8 June 2009 Author Posted 8 June 2009 Oh Sir Alan how could you?! Unfair on Kate. Felt she performed much more consistently and overall was a more successful candidate than Yasmina. But fair play to Yasmina. Alan obviously sees something more in her which will benefit his company.
