StanSP Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 I don't think we'll see much of him to be honest, unles we have too. Pearson will just use these last couple of months to have a look at him and see if he wants to sign him in summer. He might play last couple of games if we're up. Think he might make the bench simply to decrease the average age of it...
Finnegan Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 He'll play. There was no need to loan him if we had no intent in playing him in competitive games as he was already on trial here.

Aman Verma With a name like Astrit he must be good, i feel another Zsolt 1 game swansong from this guy at P'Boro. Then fans buying a shirt with his name on, only for him to leave

Joe. Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Who would get a name of a loan signing on a back of a shirt. Surely thats a bit risky? I saw somebody playing football the other day with Lackzo on the back. Ultimate amateur mistake.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 I saw somebody playing football the other day with Lackzo on the back. Ultimate amateur mistake. His name could have been Lackzo ? But mostly likely he got it after the Hungarian...
Daggers Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 I think the name matters, frankly. The name matters. True. Beautiful British name.
Alexikokopops Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Aman Verma We didn't loan him first did we? He came on trial and then we signed him.
maddog Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 True.Beautiful British name. Al Murray doing the pub landlord is so annoying, and his multiple personality disorder is a disaster. Why doesn't he just go back to Oxford and speak normally Yes just incase you didn't know Al Murray went to Oxford Uni, and my mum always hated him because she thought he talked like the pub landlord all the time
maddog Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 We didn't loan him first did we? He came on trial and then we signed him. I Hes an example of a player we did sign who hasn't played at all though.
Babel Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Interesting quote from 12 months ago:Liverpool midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic has taken a swipe at the Premier League outfit as he continues his trial at Dutch club NEC Nijmegen. “I want to play football in the Netherlands because they play here on the ground and not by air,” Ajdarevic said. "- I didn't came to Liverpool to play with the reserves but to play with the seniors. Many says that I should stay and give it another year. But there is nothing more for me to develop in the reserves, tells Astrit for the HN-sport." The funny thing is, he never played a single minute for our reserves
Alexikokopops Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 I Hes an example of a player we did sign who hasn't played at all though. Finnegan's point was that we wouldn't loan him first if we weren't going to play him in any games since we already had him on trial.

We'd make a great WWF tag team. Bags Jeff.

Finnegan Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 I always preferred Matt anyway. We are gonna ROCK Titles match against Smuts and Fez is on the cards. Daggers special ref. Woolers is our ringside totty in a bikini.
Bert Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 This is different. Cleverley has no future at City, I would imagine, he'll go back to Yanited.Adjarevic will sign at the end of the season you'd expect, unless he's guff. Liverpool want rid sharpish. Don't be too sure on this. He could very well be back here next season.
Alexikokopops Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Titles match against Smuts and Fez is on the cards.Daggers special ref. Woolers is our ringside totty in a bikini. Fez can be Rikishi the way his middle age spread is heading.
Daggers Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Don't be too sure on this.He could very well be back here next season. I'll choke on my Coco Pops if that happens.
Finnegan Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Don't be too sure on this.He could very well be back here next season. Maybe as a loanee but if Man Yoo see anything in him they're unlikely to just let him go so easily and he's fairly young for them to give up on yet. Fez can be Rikishi the way his middle age spread is heading. lol Hostility. That's some pre-fight smack talk right there.
leftsideoverhere Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 I'll choke on my Coco Pops if that happens. Read the BBC coverage today. Pearson says he fears we wont see Cleverley back at Leicester "this season". Why say that, if you're not at least trying to negotiate an extension to the loan?
Finnegan Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Strikes me as a typical, non-commital, managerial, football sort of answer really. I'm not saying he isn't coming back at all but I don't think picking at Pearson's semantics is exactly the best means of ascertaining our future transfers.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 Arrogant. That is all I will say. More like realistic I reckon.
