grth2004 Posted 27 March 2009 Posted 27 March 2009 about 3 months ago some kids started knocking on my door and running off , then they started to kick the door aswell , one night i shouted at them as they ran off , since then it has been happening every few days. recently i had a word with one girl who was on her own who knocked on my door and ran off i saw her on her way back round and just said i knew who she was and would get the police involved if she carried on. the last time was on thursday night when two 16-18 year old lads were smoking a joint on my door step , then knocked on my door they were just round the corner so i just asked them to give it a rest and they said it was there mate. i wanted to to beat the living shit out of them. i have also had stink bombs through my letter box and stuff stuck on my windows . im now at the point where i may get my baseball bat out. has anyone else had simillar troubles.

I used to have kids throwing stones through my window in Glasgow The only way you'll get the police to help you is if you tell them these are hate crimes...

StanSP Posted 27 March 2009 Posted 27 March 2009 Something you could do - Set up (hidden if you want) cameras so next time they do it, you can send the tape to the police and they'll handle it. It it only you its happening to or other people on your street? You could put some toxic paint on your door . Just make sure you don't touch it!

Koke Posted 27 March 2009 Posted 27 March 2009 My mum used to have those kind of troubles, some 16 year olds often smoked weed sitting at her front gate eating junk food and throwing all their rubbish and beer cans in my mums front garden. She was too frightened to say anything to them. One weekend me and my brother was there to visit her. We caught them and told them if we ever saw them within a 50 yards radius of my mums house we would make sure they could never shag a girl again. Sufficient to say, she hasn't seen them again and it's been almost 18 months now.

Just make sure you don't touch it! ive had a word with some neighbours and one bloke up the road had his car scratched by kids , also the police called just before it started happening saying there had been reports of kids causing trouble and had i seen anything, but still never see any police around thought about cameras and may look into that if it gets worse , but would the police give a crap if i showed them ? i would get a dog but i have two cats so probaly not a good idea

But I'd put cameras up anyway because the kdis may think they're being filmed anyway ??

morris1234 Posted 27 March 2009 Posted 27 March 2009 bstards , did you catch them? i knew who they were and one of them lived next door but the police and council didnt do anything. basically there is a field at the bakc of my house, small mor like a patch of grass with 2 diagonal paths through it, anyway theres 2 signs there saying NO BALL GAMES but the idiots cant read, so day after day the ball would come over at some pace it was setting off alarms, smashing pots, even came through the kitchen once and knocked off my p*ssing dinner. so anyway month after month and they just got worse, they ended up climbing over and ruining the fence and throwing stones at windows etc. police did nothing. they didnt even bring anybody down to see them in the act, they came once at 11am when they are obvously at school. they got worse, they were smashing up drain pipes, if there were boxes or something out there they would be smashing it they were unbelievable. so we decided to take pictures to prove they ar eout there and what they are doing, we were obvously told this was not allowed. so anyway next day a story in the leicester mercury about how people have complained about 2 mothers playing football with their 2, 5 year old children and how they cant be doing anything wrong and that they were innocent. fook off! we were livid cus the mercury didnt even ask anybody elses point of view, these wer eno 5 year old kids, these were 12 year olds+ with sometimes around 10 of them and these two mothers are so bad that these 5 year old kids are allowed to wonder the streets alone. we wonder why quite often but as always they think the sun shines out of their kids arses especially when they broke a window playing football (an old ladys house) and then decided to take the things off here window from the inside, the police arrived took names and nothing (isnt that breaking and entering and theft). phew rant over, its not as bad now as most of them have got slightly older and yes more immature but a lot more lazy, but its summer coming up so crossed fingers they dont emerge again.
