JoeyB Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 Just booked my train tickets and a days holiday on the 24th May for this. Should be a good day out!
Tommeh Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 12th May Leeds away 2nd leg of the play-off... Anyone know if these will make general sale? If not does anyone have a priority they could donate that'd be MASSIVE.
Edmund Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 It could be worst. Look at MK Dons for example. They have thrown away there chances of automatic promotion.

Maybes Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 Chill. 'The champagne is on ice for another few weeks'
AjcW Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 What-the-heck-is-this-garbage-thread-all-about?????(if-i-havent-already-told-everyone-yet-my-spacebar-is-broken)
Ultra Posted 28 March 2009 Posted 28 March 2009 What-the-heck-is-this-garbage-thread-all-about?????(if-i-havent-already-told-everyone-yet-my-spacebar-is-broken) Looks like it's not the only thing that's failing to work properly.. The next two games should be won, in which case the panic will be over, but we've squandered enough points in recent weeks for Posh and Millwall (and maybe even Leeds) to retain faint hopes of catching us. There are some on this board who might welcome the idea of spending another season in this depressing and dismal league. But I'm definitely not one of them.

Finchy Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 If we end up in the play offs now, I just know we'll lose it and it'll feel much worse than relegation last season It's not happening tho
Guest Bilo Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 We won't be going to Wembley this year. That is all.
Tilley Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 If we lost in the play offs.... My God, we'd be a joke.
maddog Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 IF we were guaranteed promotion from the playoffs, with a 4-3 last minute winner against Leeds in the playoff final at Wembley i would love it. But losing it in the playoffs leaving us with another season at least in League One, is too to bare thinking about, especially as we've all pretty much thought we would definately be in the Championship next season. That would hurt 100 times more than relegation.

That would hurt 100 times more than relegation. I don't know about that. If we don't go up for one reason or another we will have deserved it for throwing away a 12 point lead, we will finish where we deserve to finish just like last season. If we drop into the play offs then it would take a massive chin up exercise from the players to get through. I used to love the play offs under Brian Little and then when we went up in '96 and that's because most of the time we deserved to finish in those positions. Now if we miss out on automatic promotion it will be pretty devastating but we've got through worse. The players need to calm down a bit and stop panicking, we are there to be caught and the way are going we will be, however, a couple of good results and performances and we'll be planning promotion parties again. Oh the joys of supporting Leicester City Football Club, you would think we would have learnt by now that nothing is ever easy with us.
lcfc81 Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 To be honest how long can Millwall rely on 10 minute hatricks and 92nd minute winners They have to run out of luck sometime don't they Won't finish below 2nd I don't think.
Uncle Albert Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 This thread is hillarious! Cooooool. I thought GLC would of made this thread as its that lame but I was shockingly surprised for a few seconds. Then I realised JoeB created it.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Think about it, if we win on saturday and Peterborough lose then it will be like we never played them. I would be suprised if they stayed unbeaten for the rest of the season. We will pull through eventually.
