Do you reckon he was scouting Delph and Mattock or knowing Martin maybe casting an eye over a few other players, as we are all aware he has a knack of finding potential talent? Sounds silly but Steve Howard has a MON signing all over it. He loves his target men and seems to get the best out of players who other people would deem surplus to the premiership. Just throwing a spanner in the works.

Bryn Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Howard :: curveballs are nice but that's a bit dramatic. Delph definitely, possibly Mattock, I'd be surprised if he even looked as far as King or any of Leeds other young players, they have quite a young team too.

Not only that, but wasn't he in town to catch up with old friends such as Izzet and Grayson? This is just what i've been told, but yeah!
