Luton v Wimbledon sounds oddly out of place as a Conference fixture.

It could potentially be one season before AFC and the ****** are playing in the same division...

Even in our wildest dreams we both know thats not going to happen! :giggle:

I can hardly wait for the day AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons meet in the same league, and the real Wimbledon giving Plastic FC a real good kicking to.

Congratulations to AFC, absolutely brilliant news and I for one seriously fancy attending Luton v Wimbledon next season.

I for one hope that Luton win the BSP and the Dons win the play-offs. Genuinely delighted for Wimbledon, and best of luck to them next season.

Ahh who cares about AFC Wimbledon? Maidenhead United will sneak into the playoffs on the last day with a win and Chelmsford loss if the total difference of the scores is at least four. COME ON MAGPIES!

No joke, I seriously want them to get it done! I've actually been to MUFC's York Road; it's the oldest continuously-used football ground in the world.

Looking through the Observer sport pages today, we got TWO lines.

AFC Wimbledon got 2 paragraphs and even a sub-headline. Outrageous.

Don't really care, well done to them though.

Quality, will only be a matter of time before they are in league 2.

I also see FC United are in the playoffs at the moment of the unibond. With there fan base can see them In the conference in a few years.

They've got Bradford Park Avenue in their last game. Can see them missing out on the play-offs as the teams around them have games in hand.... Shame really as they are in form.

Well done AFC great to see such a rapid rise too. FC United have amazed me this season I thought just staying in the division would be an achievement especially after they lost some of their best players but a great run has seen them have a chance at the playoffs, but its so close and they have played more games but you never know.

If Leicester, Burton, AFC, and FC United all won promotion that would be amazing.

:appl: Look forward to seeing them play next season when they come to york.

Ooooo would be good if we didnt ave a fixture that day.... I could instigate a visit to the in-laws in Yorks and go see it too. Have been to watch York a few times over the last couple of years when Ive been up there.

I witnessed them first hand about a month ago in the semi-final of the FA Trophy. I'm in the AFC Telford end, unfortunately, Ricky Sappleton was cup-tied :(

Well AFC won and are up, FC miss out in the cruelist way. I thought FC would lose and miss out but they drew and the 2 teams below them won I think one of them scoring very late to knock FC out of the play offs. I'm pretty pissed TBH.
