For me I paid £125, which is pretty decent to watch quality football week in week out!:P

You're going to Derby too?!

Naaah - he's clearly far too bright for that...lol

So clever that he's then gone and posted on the internet how he's scammed an under 18 ST from the club?

Anyone can now just send a link of this thread to the club to inform them that the 17 year old Tom who has a brother called John doesn't actually exist and that the ticket is actually for the 18 year old John who should be paying a higher price.

To be fair to John/Tom I think there's fuck all chance of either 1. anyone being bothered enough to send this to the club and 2. the club actually bothering to investigate it.

I doubt John/Tom will be having any sleepless nights.

Just like the student season ticket fiasco, and how many cooonts on here posted they scammed a cheaper ticket that way, the club will just ask for proof of age or eligibility, let them enjoy there cheaper\scammed tickets while it lasts!!!

Mockery:

Leicester Tigers are close to breaking their season-ticket sales record with more than two months to go before the start of the new Guinness Premiership campaign.

The Premiership champions have topped the 13,000 mark for the 2009-10 season, just 100 less than the record of 13,100 set two seasons ago. Last year, Tigers sold 12,400 season tickets.

The capacity of Tigers' Welford Road ground will increase from 17,498 to 24,000 after the completion of the giant new Caterpillar Stand.

Managing director David Clayton says he is delighted by the reaction of supporters to last season's success, which saw Tigers not only win the league title but also reach the final of the Heineken Cup, when they lost to Leinster.

"To have exceeded last year's total with a couple of months to go before the new season starts is really encouraging and reflects the demand there is for season tickets," he said.

This probably means they've sold more than us at this stage. Although this does also mean they've sold more than 'Massive' Leeds lol

People from the club read these forums, and are aware of the scams that go on. This is one of the reasons that older students were going to be exempt from discounted ST prices, regardless of their status. Thankfully that has been sorted, but if anyone thinks that the club doesn't know what is going on is a fool.

So what's actually the deal with the student ST prices now? Do the students have to be in full time education or can it be part time?

Full time only, and you have to take in proof that it's full time. They wouldn't back down on part timers, even though part timers could be just as, if not more financially disadvantaged than full timers, as they aren't entitled to student loans etc.

Don't spose you know what the score is with match tickets? Read something about the students have to be studying somewhere that's signed up to Leicester's specific ticket scheme. So basically studying somewhere in Leicester I take it?

All I know is that they did special offers for some games for students from all of the counties universities. You did have to take ID with you for each ticket, and as far as I know it wasn't extended to unis outside the county, but that could be wrong.

Anyone know if I need to take ID for me and my bro when I go buy the tickets?

Only if you want to buy at concessionary rates. Not sure about direct debit payments.

Planning on buying my tickets today, finally, if I can be arsed.

I don't need to do anything before hand do I? Just go in and sort it all out there and then?

You need your passport, birth cert., parents and the midwife that was there during your birth, only then can you get tickets!! And if possible, the person you lost your virginity to......
