Wesolowski on the move?

Craig Levein has confirmed Dundee United have first refusal on James Wesolowski and will open talks with Leicester next month.

The 21-year-old, who has two years remaining on his contract at the Walkers Stadium, joined the Tangerines from Levein's former club in January and improved his match fitness with a string of solid performances.

A hamstring tear has cut short his stay with United but Levein hopes to speak to his former employers next month to see if a return deal can be done.

Levein revealed to the Press & Journal: "Considering James wasn't fit and had been out for so long with injury I think he did a really good job for us.

"His fitness gradually got better and he was having more influence on games. Hopefully, we'll see him back again next season if we can do a deal with Leicester.

"We've got an option on him, so I'll speak to his club and see what happens from there."

Good luck to the lad. Injuries have not been kind to him, but I believe a move will prove good for all parties.

Are injuries ever kind to anyone?

This.

As he's unlikely to feature in the first-team for us next season, a move to the SPL could be for the best.

He won't be able to move when he's 40.

In fact, I am fairly confident that a leg of his leg will be severed in the coming seasons.
