foxoffderby Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 As far as I'm aware, it will stay that way until we return to the Premier League and can start paying off the loan again.. The quicker we buy it back the better, especially in the current climate. dont trust americans after the banking crisis. But can understand we need to be in prem and established before we think about buying back...
Bert Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 As far as I'm aware, it will stay that way until we return to the Premier League and can start paying off the loan again.. That's the target - If we get promoted we'd gain around £30m. Enough to pay the debt off.
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 That's the target - If we get promoted we'd gain around £30m. Enough to pay the debt off. What is the debt? If it's £28m we'd be screwed in the transfer dealings! But then we'd have no money to spend on players ... We could bring Billy Kee and Levi P*rter back!
Ozwin Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Simon Cox will have fulfilled to his maximum potential by then, we won't need to sign anyone.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Simon Cox will have fulfilled to his maximum potential by then, we won't need to sign anyone. There we go problem solved.
Tommy G Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 You can get full accounts off companies house direct for a £1 made up to 31/05/2008. That assuming the club is T/A 'Leicester City Football Club Limited' By the looks of the filing history they are as Hoos and Aldridge are mentioned as being appointed as directors. http://chd3.companieshouse.gov.uk/5f3914e2...mp;bts=cosearch Full accounts would give you a very good idea of how the club is doing, will probably make most supports on here cry though as I'm sure they are trading as insolvent.
Monk Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 What Tommy G said. Not sure if we will see some half year report on there soon. I have access to that website also so will try to remember to keep an eye on it. I would imagine that in terms of day to day business we are OK, but without Milan's backing we would struggle from a cash flow perspective.
shiv Posted 14 May 2009 Author Posted 14 May 2009 Hey Shiv, do you by any chance have a YouTube channel called 'ShivTube' - I remember watching the Steve Howard Leeds goal on it! haha nope never even heard of shivtube!
David Guiza Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 haha nope never even heard of shivtube! If u'v got the right manager in charge you don't need to spend over the top surely? Chris Eagles aside look at what Burnley have done. Or Bristol City last year who narrowly missed out.
Bryn Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 I'd say he's a businessman who happens to enjoy the business of football. He chooses football for the love of football, but he does it for the business sake. And as such everything Bert has said is probably true.
AyewJoking Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 Mandaric could have £100 million but that doesnt mean Leicester City have £100 million. Maybe he'll flash the cash to get us in the prem but when the big money starts to come in I guess he'll pocket most of it rather than spend it on the club.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 There are easier, more reliable ways to make cash. Surely a lot of rich guys get into chairman roles because they enjoy the thrill and excitement - as well as the money. Oh he loves that, he's just not going to loose any of his money chasing it.
