You don't see many people of African, West Indian descent around in Britain in the 1800's do you. Anyway why are you even bringing this up. I was stating a point to Thracian that people emigrate to Britain and give birth whilst in the county and is nothing new as he was annoyed that a stat he got from somewhere said that 1 in 4 newborns have a parent who is an immigrant and I wanted to know why it irritated him but you leeched on and are making a silly argument out of nothing which is going nowhere. I don't even think you know what you are arguing about because I sure in hell don't. What is your point? The only thing I can gather (guess) is that you are saying that if someone emigrated to this country a few generations back and settled in England and started a family it's ok and if they have done recently then it's not. Actually you could argue that it was exploitation of the resources of the nations of the British empire which built and sustained Britain as the power it was and created the foundations of the nation we are today. Perhaps it is not that surprising if the people of some of those nations felt a tie with Britain, and came to live here.
