MrsJohnMurphy Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Why no bids yet? Do you think it's genuine? Unfortunately it's too small for me! Coatsworth's match shirt And no i'm not the seller.

DB11 Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 There's no certificate of authentication or that bollocks to prove it
purpleronnie Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 COA's arent worth the paper they are written on unless it comes directly from the player or club.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Coatsworth didn't play a single game in 1994-95, so I'm not even sure it was ever "match worn"
Nugent Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Coatsworth didn't play a single game in 1994-95, so I'm not even sure it was ever "match worn" Good job it's a shirt from 95/96 then.
DB11 Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Anyway, as Craig Adams will verify, we have an eBay thread!
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Good job it's a shirt from 95/96 then. We were in Division One in 95/96, and Coatsworth had since left.
Jace Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 yeh it cant be 95/96 cos its got premier league badges on as far as im aware the fox leisure shirts that were sold to the fans were the same as the player issued shirts anyway, unlike umbro or nike shirts where they have different codes and printing on the match day shirts. If he didnt play that season then there isnt much to make this shirt different from the others made that season regardless if it had been issued to him or not, it does look in great condition though
RobHawk Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 Just looking at the description as copied below, "Leicester City Match Worn Shirt Gary Goatsworth - 1995/96 Match Worn Premiership Shirt Authentic Match Worn Home Shirt 1995/96 Season Superb Condition - Mint Home Shirt - Fox Leisure" I dont know who Gary Goatsworth is but he sure as hell didnt play for Leicester! Thats like me trying to sell one of my mates shirts "as worn by Steve Welsh"

dilko2008 Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 someone seriously didnt just say he didnt play for Leicester did they? he had retired during that season we were in the prem and didnt play
Jace Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 lmao im 23 and even im young enough to remember him at leicester
foxoffderby Posted 11 June 2009 Posted 11 June 2009 remember him, wasn't great. Played fullback and centreback, sometimes in midfield. Remember him scoring a volley from outside the box amazing goal at filbo at the kop end. Think he was Brian Little signining.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 someone seriously didnt just say he didnt play for Leicester did they?he had retired during that season we were in the prem and didnt play Actually he went from the Premier League to play for the mighty Spennymoor United in April that year. What a waste of Premiership quality.
RobHawk Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 I think we all know who Gary Coatsworth is! How could you not? The guys a cross between Roberto Carlos and the elephant man!! An absolute legend. The discussion taking place was who is Gary Goatsworth? I've highlighted the obvious error for you. ****
