Samilktray Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Reported cases now in Syston at both Wreake Valley College and St. Peter And St. Paul's. Couple of kids that are in my nieces year (not class) have got it as well as one of the mums. And every fucker round here cant shut up about it, what an idiotic area I live in.
Cobbo Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 My workplace has 2 confirmed cases & my mum's school (she's a teacher, not a pupil) also has confirmed cases - come on immune system!

Babylon Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 Some little f***** was sat behind me on the bus to work coughing and spluttering. I fully expect my weekend away to be ruined with swine flu. Well I was correct, I have woken up today with a bit of a temperature and runny nose. I beg to differ Fingers crossed I just have a cold, how did yours start? Did you feel crap pretty quickly or could you feel it coming on slowly.
lou Posted 11 July 2009 Posted 11 July 2009 One of my children has been diagnosed with it... theyre not testing anyone anymore as theres too many cases now. Just doing telephone diagnosis and then I had to go to the Royal to pick up some Tamiflu. The first couple of days was horrendous they were constantly crying with pain and had a temp of 39.5 everything hurt even their eyeballs which sounds weird I know. This mornin seems a little better and the temp is down to 38. I wouldnt wish this on anyone but this version doesnt seem a lot different to normal flu to be honest which will floor even the hardiest of souls! Work have told me I cant go in for 7 days so at least I can look after my child on full pay.
