He's barely a household name in his own household over here for feck's sake! lol

I asked a Turkish lad why they all seem to think he's Ronaldo.

He said they know by our standards he's shit, but by the standard of their team he is Ronaldo.

The team had an absolute shocker all season and only just beat relegations apparently.

At the end of the day, whether they've ever seen him play or not they'll probably look at the fact he has 20 odd caps for a top country and has spent 10 years playing in the Premier League and be pretty excited.

England aren't a top country you know. The ranking of 7th flatters us and we would struggle to beat the Galapagos Islands because of our technical deficiencies.

Give it a few months and when he starts hitting them over and wide from three yards out there will be another video in that airport involving the same fans chasing him out of the country.

Is it at the airport or have i just made that up? :dunno:
