Leroy Lita on his way to Middlesboro'

If his wages are as high as people say, I can believe it.

14k, It's alot but is it really that much?

I always thought somewhere around 10k was an 'average' wage in the Championship.

Not a lot for a footballer, really. But probably a lot for Leicester City. I thought the best paid player here got £10,000 a week.

I think Djs on more than that due to his wage rise after our promotion :giggle:

I reiterate fook DJ and Dickov off, I'm almost certain that would free up money for Lita's wages and we'll have some change. Seems fooking em' off is easier said than done though.

Well considering we've been trying to offload DJ for at least six months you'd have thought so...

Come on QPR, save us.

I didn't know if £10,000 a week was right, just something I was told. You think Campbell could be on as much as £15,000 a week? Shocking waste.

Try nearer £20k.

Fcuking hell! They're literally pissing £20,000 a week down the drain every week. That's at least £1m a year in wages.

Absolutely shocking.

I thought it had been reported the DJ was on 9k a week. Which whilst still an exhorbitant amount is not in the 20k brackett. The top earner was allegedly N'Gotty and he's departed. I would assume one from Clemence, Oakley or Howard would be the top earner now.

Didn't Fryatt go through an upgrade when he signed a new contract last season? Wellens must be on a fair bit, too.

I doubt it to be honest. Having played the majority of his careeer at lower league clubs I can't see his wage being too huge. I'd be amazed if it's more than 3-4k a week.

I hope he decides to come here, i think NP is just the man to turn his career right round, bearing in mind if he is trying to play us and the smoggies off against each other that £10k per week is half a fooking million pounds per year..... :dunno:

Wellens on 3-4k a week?!

lol My thoughts entirely.

Even if he did mean Fryatt, he would easily be on £8K plus

Lita looked pretty good when he was at Norwich. But not £14,000 a week good.

And DJ's £20k plus a week good?

Lita is worth the wages in my opinion. Not only has he proved himself at this level, he's proved he can rattle 'em in at Premiership level. Phillips would be a short term fix, Lita would be a long term solution. I'd much rather pay Lita £14k a week than pay Phillips similar dough. The signing of Lita would also send out a message to the rest of the Championship that we expect more than mere consolidation.

We're often termed as an ambitious club, let's prove it.
