I thought it had been reported the DJ was on 9k a week. Which whilst still an exhorbitant amount is not in the 20k brackett. The top earner was allegedly N'Gotty and he's departed. I would assume one from Clemence, Oakley or Howard would be the top earner now.

Having played the majority of his careeer at lower league clubs I can't see his wage being too huge. I'd be amazed if it's more than 3-4k a week.

Phillips would be a short term fix, Lita would be a long term solution. I'd much rather pay Lita £14k a week than pay Phillips similar dough. The signing of Lita would also send out a message to the rest of the Championship that we expect more than mere consolidation. We're often termed as an ambitious club, let's prove it.
