(Daily Star)BBC GOSSIP Not the most reliable of papers but transfer talk none the less!!! Jeez, is he only 24?? Thought he was a lot older... seems to have been around for YEARS!!
ousefox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 We have to try and get him in unless he wants too much. Surely he will need a club sooner rather than later if he wants to get fit for the season?
teblin Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Fast and powerful, Pearson will know him from his u21 days. Decent signing not terrible not amazing, but there has to be a reason that he's not been snapped up by anyone else yet.

CosbehFox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 I fear Maddog may have a wet dream this morning and his balls will finally drop. Maybe, a change of attitude from the fella if the case.
montyfox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 i know a norwich fan who rates lita highly from his loan days there his only criticism is sometimes he looks unintrestesd but so did heskey so could be the 1 we need
Jon the Hat Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Going to have to trust Big Nige on this one. If he thinks he can get him playing then worth a shot. I am not going to get excited though.
brookfox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 I know a wikipedia fan who isn't that impressed... "Lita is currently mulling over a return to Pantomime, though it is yet to be confirmed officially." They also reckon he turned down a move to Real Madrid and Manure. He must be wicked!
General Smuts Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 So excited i dint even make the carpet, my pants are sodden.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 July 2009 Author Posted 21 July 2009 We have to try and get him in unless he wants too much. Surely he will need a club sooner rather than later if he wants to get fit for the season? Read the Daily Star article.....and it claims apparently we will offer him 14,000 per week wages. C'mon LEROY!!!!
Fox92 Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 If we can get his confidence up high and he can score the goals - and we know he can then lets get him in. A good record as well; Bristol City 85 games 31 goals Reading 77 games 20 goals Charlton Athletic 8 games 3 goals Norwich City 16 games 7 goals Another smallish striker but with only Howard/DJ/Dickov/Fryatt we need to get him in. Worried about the 14k a week though if its true
Dr The Singh Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Not a bad player on a free, he's a confidence player, but he does add value!!
jimmer Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Hmmmmm, not sure on this one. Could go either way. If Nige thinks he can get goals out of him then its ok by me! Like people have said earlier.......why's he not been snapped up before £14K
Filbert_Ross Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 cant wait to have a scrap with him outside Po Na Na
Charnwood Norris Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 24???! I thought he was around 29 too. Reminded me of Defoe in his playing style. Needs to improve goal record though..tis not great of late.
Kilworthfox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Reported on Talksport that we are going to offer him £14k per week
Samilktray Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 I doubt we'll get him. Too exciting for us to sign him.
Kilworthfox Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 I doubt we'll get him.Too exciting for us to sign him. Bert, Babs & Knowitall, c'mon with the info
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Hoping he could be one of the "hungry" players we need - he hasn't really fulfilled his early potential and his next move could be his last chance of doing that. It's a risk, lessened by the fact that we wouldn't have to pay a fee (although that in turn is cancelled out if we offer high wages to attract him). My main reservation is that (judging from comments on here) he seems to be temperamental, a confidence player and can be lazy - we already have DJ to tick all these boxes! I think Nige and the team would have their work cut out to turn around both of these players, so I wouldn't be bringing in Lita unless Campbell was definitely on the way out. One of them is bad enough, but having both of their egos and attitudes to deal with could harm the spirit of the squad.
dandannieldanok Posted 21 July 2009 Posted 21 July 2009 Reported on Talksport that we are going to offer him £14k per week Definitely worth it if he hits top form, we've ploughed enough wages into all those useless Martin Allen signings so lets this time spend on someone decent. Please join us Leroy! I doubt we'll get him.Too exciting for us to sign him. Tend to agree unfortunately.
