hi guys

this is my first post ive been reading this forum for years, and finally decided to sign up.

just wondering what u think about milan mandaric coming out and declaring his interest in lita.

surely this will put the other clubs on red alert? is there anyway he can step out of the limelight and try sign a player without telling the whole world first?

huge nose serbian

He didn't mention his name, other clubs are well aware of Lita being on a free anyway even if he had.

I think about 10 clubs have been keeping a watch on Lita. There was rumours Stoke and Burnley were interested, so if anything Leicester are the underdogs in this one, even if he mentioned him, makes no difference I reckon.

I'm just holding onto hope that Leroy Lita loved working for NP in the U21's set up and that is a big pulling factor towards us, In reality it'll probably be whoever waves the most pound signs - Which you can't blame him for.

Lita seemed to be at his best when he was in the U-21s, maybe he thinks Pearson could get him on track.

But from what I know about Lita, he seems like the kind that would be lured by the cash and the Premiership glamour.

Where on earth has this 20k figure come from? It's on record that "Holloway said: "We have tried to sign DJ Campbell, but Leicester went up last season and that means DJ's wages also went up. His agent has made it totally clear that he isn't going to take a drop from the money he is on."

As Campbell's wages are twice as high as Pool's current top earner, it almost certainly rules out a move. "

That would mean Blackpool are paying someone 10k per week! Who on earth in Blackpools side would be on that much? DJ is on 9k per week.

All I'm going to say is that I know a damn lot more than you do.

Also -

Mm has told Np he expects his highest paid players to be playing every week. Highest 3 players Campbell Ngotty Howard

Good job Pearson told Mandaric where to go then.. :D (assuming Knowitall's info was right).

Campbell hardly featured last season, and N'Gotty never played at all!

I just hope we don't miss out on a striker, panic and buy someone that dosen't fit the criteria.

Me too. Although I very much doubt he will come to us, he will more likely follow the money and a three / four year deal, probably Burnley on 25K per week.

City chairman Milan Mandaric said: “But we are talking to someone who can make a difference. There are a lot of strikers around but we need someone who can add a different dimension." http://www.givemefootball.com/championship...with-leroy-lita

Litre is certainly a different striker to what we have now.

Christ, didn't realise he was metric :D
