I click on it and it tells me 'Please insert a disc into drive F:.' Have you tried switching the computer on and off again? Being serious here, it does actually solve plenty of problems .

Yeh I always rely on things like that. Shame it isn't working this time. Me + FM seem to have too many issues. I might have to enf the relationship sooner rather than later
DB11 Posted 29 October 2009 Posted 29 October 2009 My performance and speed is half a star even when i only have English Leagues on down to BSN/ BSS. <_<What star rating are you that have installed it getting and are you running it on a decent laptop/ PC? Mine was five star. I added loads of leagues and it only went down to 4 and a half star

I pre loaded my steam copy and it won't launch either this morning after doing all the decyrpting etc etc. I threw a wobbler whilst messing around with installing/updating Direct X. Anyway, basically long and the short of it is, I've decided to remove all local content and try re-downloading it. Suppose we'll see if it's working when I get home. If not, I'm going out to buy a copy and I'll reclaim my money from Steam ....... phf! Selling stuff that isn't fit for purpose!!! Just got on the forums the minute you posted that. Now trying the various solutions posted by members.I'm in! All nighter it is! What solved your Steam issue? No amount of updating drivers bothered mine!

Decided to just download the game without steam, took 5 mins no probs. Thanks Steam for wasting an hour and a half of game time.

My comp is 2.4ghz quad core with 3GB ram and Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb graphics card. Had no problems whatsoever with FM. My computer star rating was 5 star and I added 7 countries with 20+ leagues on large database and it dropped to 3 star which wasn't too bad. I get no stuttering in the match engine either.
