haraven Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I haven't heart any such rumours. Mandaric has kept away from media for a change, which in many ways is good. He is tighter on his purse, and I fully understand why, no problems there. Mattock should bring us some money, and Pearson is really a man I am proud to have as a manager. He has a terrific winner instinct. Now back to Mandaric, if he leaves now he would simply have lost a lot of money. If we make it to the Premier league in 1-2 seasons, he will start making money quick. So I doubt that he wants to sell the club now, and I don't really think there is a big sellers market for football clubs either... Not that I am an expert on his situation or anything, but I would find that odd. I am thankful we got Mandaric with us.

To be honest, I hate the way Mattock decided to tell Mandaric by phone, but we don't actually know what happened. The Foxes paid Doncaster Rovers £1m for midfielder Richie Wellens, making him the club's biggest signing of the summer. Fryatt's progress in the Championship could also be key to City's chances. An interesting anology would be: I raided my own private piggy bank and er treated myself to a yacht, a Lear jet and a beach side villa on the Cote d'Azure. But I hadn't take out enough to cover the Roller so I went back and um there wasn't even chump change left in the piggy bank. So I just wrote the Roller off
