does anyone take a flag to away games?

and if i had an Algerian flag at a game what do you think the reaction would be from the Leicester away fans??

there's a bloke who sits in the Kop who always has an Ireland flag at games..... can't see how me having an Algerian one would be any different

I don't really see why you would want to take one, but unless it says FLAG OF ALGERIA on it in fook off letters then anyone that would be stupid enough to kick off about it will probably be too stupid to know what it is either.

i just had a vision of it hanging off the top tier at St James park and being on Skysports

my dad would probably well up if he seen it at the game

i am worried that some utter disabled will have a go at me, then start singing 10 german bombers or the national anthem in my face though

I had an Ireland flag at Stockport away last season, being used as a Côte d'Ivoire flag for one of our own players.. Apparently, that gave somebody the right to have a go at me and get all patriotic. disabled.

Glad someone has bought this up. I was thinking about getting an American flag and putting a big City badge over the stars.

Wonder how people would react to that...

If we had an Algerian player then I think you'd get a free pass. But since we don't, you'll always get some planks who will object to foreign flags.

What happened to that massive city badge flag that went over the kop? Have I been going blind or have they stopped that now?

It's because its owner no longer has a Season Ticket....or something.

Some ****** did this to me when I had a Welsh Flag at Barnsley a couple of season's back with "Iwan is a Welshman" written on it. It wasn't even my flag, it was Fez's, haha.

I used to carry a Leicester City flag in the sixties, and even got hassle then.

I can remember getting chased by a hoard of Leyton Orient retards. one night after a game we won. I dived into a pub, and watched them all run past. Later, as my tube train pulled out of the station they appeared on the platform. I just had time to put my flag to the window, and wave them goodbye.
