Guest Bilo Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 He's only six foot ain't he? Nige isn't as tall as he seems. He towered over me when I met him.
Lillehamring Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 He played for Blackburn last week I believe.Like the sig
Finnegan Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 . A good comparison, in a way, would be Jason Koumas: so much potential at a very early age, much hype, some stunning goals but all in all, a rather unconvincing career. Oi! Who's this clown think he is?!
Finnegan Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Nige is massive, he's a right bulky bugger. Yeah, he's hench as fuck but he ain't exactly twelve feet tall either.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 'Hmmm' is how I sum this signing up... It doesn't inspire me greatly yet it does little for disappointment.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Sky Sports Football Yearbook puts Gallagher at 6ft 1 A whole 2 inches shorter than Steve Howard.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 This was said in June 09 ''Since I've been back here he's (Big Fat Sam) said he's willing to give me that chance if I get my head down and work hard....'' Maybe he's not been working hard enough......
MrSpaM Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Although i reserve judgement on this guy until i see him play for us, i think holding back on the transfers was a good idea by Pearson. Gallagher is a good buy, and I expect a lot of clubs were interested in him too. People on the Blackburn forums seem slightly gutted that he's gone, which is always a good sign. Roll on saturday, hopefully we'll get a chance to see some of these long rangers he's supposed to be able to bang in
Bryn Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Tidy enough signing, not many good strikers out there to be honest, a million is about the going rate, 24 goals in around 70 or 80 appearances is it isn't a terrible return from a young lad who was probably moved from position to position at clubs he probably wasn't overly attached to.
flanimal Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Gallagher will get us 15 goals this season. Decent signing.
Manderic's pants Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Gallagher will get us 15 goals this season. Decent signing. Three of them better be tomorrow or he's a nobody.
Ozwin Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Gallagher will get us 15 goals this season. Decent signing. I'm suprised you're pleased with it. Didn't take 20 pages of speculation this time.
Thracian Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 13 in 40 for Aygyle? 11 in 37 for Stoke ... He's got his fair share. Yes and it might be worth remembering that Argyle and Stoke aren't what I would describe as all-out attacking sides. No disrespect whatsoever to either but their success has been built on being competitive and organised rather than being rampant goalscorers. In a side like Leicester's with decent wingers and a fairly creative outlook for a good part of the time then he might improve his average slightly with us. Either way he looks capable of a fairly significant contribution goals-wise.
Shrenchel Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 With him and Beckford upfront we'll be unstoppable.
richie8oy Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 With him and Beckford upfront we'll be unstoppable.
Father Ted Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 A very impressive signing and NP has again impressed me.
flanimal Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 I expect he'll get at least one against Barnsley. Even with an unfit Fryatt and N'Guessan filling in upfront, I thought we'd win fairly well. But with Gallagher wanting to impress, and "maybe" Kermorgant playing too, Barnsley are gonna get battered, at least 3-0. Interesting to watch how the strikers get rotated now. Obviously Waghorn is likely to be used as a super-sub.
ronnup Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Not sure about this one, . Gallagher will get us 15 goals this season. Decent signing. is someone hacking your account.... seriously...
Alexikokopops Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 is someone hacking your account.... seriously... Textbook flanimal
Vlad The Impaler Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Think he'll start tomorrow, doubt Kermo will though. Excited to see both of them
flanimal Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Well, at least I'm consistent. But no, when I heard Gallagher had signed I was thinking of a different player. No I know who Paul Gallagher is, I'm confident he'll score a lot.
