StanSP Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Glad he's joined. Once he breaks his Foxes goalscoring duck with a free-kick/overhead kick from 30 yards he'll be well on his way to becoming a fan favourite
Ozwin Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 I loved his crazy arse bicycle kick yesterday, he wasn't far off connecting either. I really want him to get a goal.

How much longer will it be before he gets a start up front? If we a going to continue with our regular 'direct' approach, surely he must be a better long term prospect than Howard! Nice bit of french, you know it makes sense!

the buckwheat Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 More than a frenchman Big Yann is a :fox: from Brittany

Fox You Forest Posted 14 December 2009 Posted 14 December 2009 or a portugeseian (?). More than a frenchmanBig Yann is a :fox: from Brittany I've just watched that all the way through and I'm still non the wiser.
tontondan Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Yann should take free kicks and corners ... Here are links to help NP to take this decision http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x84986_08...sbourg-41_sport http://www.strimoo.com/video/13841127/08-J...ailymotion.html http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8bl9i_08...-reims-22_sport
The Doctor Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 The correct technical terms are 'frog' or 'portugeezer'........ good to knoe  what? i didn't know what you call a portuguese person (e.g France - frenchman, brazil - brazilian etc)
the buckwheat Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 <_< News from french website Yann was called by two clubs of french Premier League, Valenciennes and St Etienne In France they find that his time of play is bad at City
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 Know it all said he wa the best finisher we have had at the club for years,So.... Why haven't we seen fook all from him?? except from a couple of sub apperance's I really don't think a 2 1/2yr contract was the best choice Has it taken so long for him to "settle in" when we've seen players from further a field come stright into the squad,Even when Howard was dropped DJ got more time than him. I had high hopes of seeing Yann but just seems like another player on a long contract who will soon be another Levi Porter,Astrit,DJ Ect. Which only restricts us in the future of signing good players as we have 10 bit-part players on a good few grand a week.

I'm in full agreement but you'll get shot down for that opinion, Kermorgant is an untouchable like Wellens.

For some players settling in might take a little bit longer. Give him the benefit of the doubt. He might have a family to deal with too. Have faith in him at least.
Joe. Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 He's barely been given a chance to be fair, he's not looked too bad from what I've seen despite the lack of goals.

He could be another Dj/Astrit but suppose only the future will tell. Could even be a Hossam Kaebi
El Furio Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 He's got a good touch, is great in the air and from the footage available and from what other fans say, he only scores spectacular goals. A player like that wont be a regular starter for us, he'll really just be a player to try and change a game or to fill in when injuries occur. He's no Fryatt but he certainly isn't an Akinbiyi.
dandannieldanok Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 He's barely been given a chance to be fair That's the point though, if he's not getting in the team then surely he can't be that good.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 Im not saying Yann is bad for us,Just expected to see a little more from him before now,he's been with the club for a little while now all in all.

hackneyfox Posted 6 January 2010 Posted 6 January 2010 I thought he was another Berner, in that he arrived with an injury which was always going to take some time to clear up.
