Kermorgant Signs

Posted on: Mon 24 Aug 2009

Leicester City have confirmed the signing of French striker, Yann Kermorgant. The former Stade Reims frontman has recently been on trial at the Walkers Stadium and impressed City boss Nigel Pearson enough to earn a contract with the Foxes.

Pearson said: "We are delighted to have added Yann to the football club. I now look forward to seeing him have a positive impact on the squad over the coming months."

Kermorgant showed signs of his talent during City Reserves' 4-1 win over Sheffield United Reserves at the Walkers Stadium last Wednesday, opening the scoring after six minutes.

sky say... "The 27-year-old has agreed an initial short-term deal until January, with a view to earning a prolonged stay at the Walkers Stadium."

Is this guy really that good? Has anyone seen him play? Just that alot of people seem delighted about this. It was on of those topics in Transfer Talk that I really could not be fooked with.

Yes I saw that but the French report said 3 years and injured - who do you believe the Sky or the French :dunno:

I'd believe sky over the cheese eating surrender monkeys.

It took two trials for him just to get a short term deal. I wouldn't be expecting Ronaldo, Basingstoke, no. ;)

Not even fat Brazilian Ronaldo?

Unless there was contracual problems, It's taking a while to do a deal, like what has been said TWO trials, sounds a bit suss to me ... <_<

He only had one trial. His initial visit was to look at facilities etc. here. as he was injured. The bloke said it himself.

Nige is obviously a fan of the haircut

Good signing, were done upfront now.

Pretty much say we were done in midfield( Shame we didnt get cleverly, two in two for watford)

Defence has always been solid so i would say thats done aswell.

I wouldnt be surprised if they have finished for the summer now, bar a sneaky loan signing or two.
