The former Stade Reims frontman has recently been on trial at the Walkers Stadium and impressed City boss Nigel Pearson enough to earn a contract with the Foxes. Finnegan Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 It took two trials for him just to get a short term deal. I wouldn't be expecting Ronaldo, Basingstoke, no.

Braunyfox Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Unless there was contracual problems, It's taking a while to do a deal, like what has been said TWO trials, sounds a bit suss to me ... <_<
CosbehFox Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Unless there was contracual problems, It's taking a while to do a deal, like what has been said TWO trials, sounds a bit suss to me ... <_< He only had one trial. His initial visit was to look at facilities etc. here. as he was injured. The bloke said it himself.
Father Ted Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 It's on the OS and there's a picture of him holding a shirt with NP.
MC Prussian Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 They've just changed the style of the article on the OS slightly, that's it. It's back, btw.
AjcW Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Nige is obviously a fan of the haircut Good signing, were done upfront now. Pretty much say we were done in midfield( Shame we didnt get cleverly, two in two for watford) Defence has always been solid so i would say thats done aswell. I wouldnt be surprised if they have finished for the summer now, bar a sneaky loan signing or two.
Dr The Singh Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 I'm delighted because I could close that bloomin thread in transfer talk... until I see him play I will stay nonpussed. Is that what you call it!!!
