Villains of the Club and Not a lot of People Know that

Hey all

the last questions that I will throw your way are.

  1. Villains of LCFC: (unpopular players or those who left under a cloud – again serious or humorous)
  2. Not a lot of people know that: (a piece of obscure trivia)

Thank you all very much. I will link you guys to the book once published. Should be titled...

"The Essential Fans Guide to the Clubs of the English Football League"

Kind Regards

Jimmy

Dennis Wise - elbowed 1 of our fellow team mates, so we released him, and then he sued us

What a tw*t

Didn't he only sue us because we fined him 2 weeks wages, and then after terminated his contract which counts as being punished for the same thing twice in the work place?

not sticking up for him but i thought that was what happened......

Plus he was shite too :D

Here's something people might or might not have known. When we signed Akinbiyi for 5 mil our other target was a young eidur gudjohnsen from bolton who was available for 4 mil. Taylor really dropped a bollock there. Let me think, younger, scored more goals, cheaper.....nah lets sign akinbiyi!

I don't personally dislike Holloway. What was it that John Curtis said about us? I remember him leaving us for Portsmouth but not really caring lol. Joe Mattock, Peter Taylor and Dennis Wise are bellends though.

Random but I remember there being a rumour that Lee Philpott had a bit of a 'thing' for ladies handbags.:unsure:

No idea where the rumour started, or what it related to exactly... so probably not much help to you. :P

He was very defensive about it one night in a certain Leicester Nightclub though. :dunno:

Not sure how true this is but I was told by the father of an ex physio.

Martin Hodge was not actually released by Leicester for being shit (though he undoubtedly was), he was caught cheating at cards and other players refused to play with him after.

Sir Rodney Walker & John Elsom, took on huge debt, never put their hands in their pockets and lumbered us with debt and a shit team we still have not recovered from their "leadership" of this club  WANKERS!

Another one, not too sure if it was common knowledge or not but David Oldfield is gay. From the same source as above.

At the time the rumour was he stole it, whether it was actual theft or just drunken jape I don't know.

Hardly a villain - wouldn't he fit better in this thread - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=62216

David Pleat? Shocking manager for us, although his commentary these days is reason enough to hate him.

For people that weren't a member of the club, I reserve a strong dislike for Bobo Balde and Neil Warnock.
