Fox92 Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 They take loads of money off of you which is poor. They put the away games on the television that you intended on going to which is poor so your in a situation. However, they do have some great presenters (male and female). Still dislike Sky though <_< although they bring us great games, like Villa v Birmingham on Sunday!
Joe. Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 They take loads of money off of you which is poor. They don't force you to take out a subscription.
Leicfox Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 I love sky. My only qualm is it's a bit pricey but hey ho I don't thinks it's enough for me to pmt over its services. I agree. I love sky to and have the lot. Tv, Phone and Broadband (great because there's no fair use policy on Unlimited) I pay just under £80 a month for the lot and it does sound alot but i look at it as £20 a week, and the enjoyment i and my family get from it far out ways the £20 i splash out.

I've got Virgin + and have just upgraded to include skysports, its an extra £20 a month and can cancel it anytime, only got it for the newcastle game and the 2 that are on next month, then might cancel depending how many other games are on - got a free wireless router too for upgrading! Might switch to sky though at some point, although i am getting a half season ticket hopefully at xmas.
Fosse Boy Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 This thread's slowly but surely turning in to a Sky Sports ad.
davieG Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 I like sex.And tits. And cheesecake. Are they different or are you talking milk or the feathered ones?
Guest Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 I like sex.And tits. And cheesecake. I can't offer either of the above, but if you like Key Lime Pie I have discovered that I make a bloody good one.
john_lcfc Posted 12 September 2009 Posted 12 September 2009 theres some serious hypocracy going on here. I imagine many of us slag sky and yet have the lot and love their Sunday dosage of Richard Keys and Andy Gray. I know I do
Daggers Posted 12 September 2009 Posted 12 September 2009 Have we come to a decision yet? Am I allowed to keep Sky or should I send it to Room 101? This thread doesn't seem to be living up to its earlier promise, I fear a definitive judgement may never be reached.
Edmund Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Back to the Newcastle game. I can't remember anyone complaining about sky's biased towards us and Leeds throughout the whole of last season. It's just how it works the bigger clubs will get more attention. Any sport you watch on tv will always focus on the "bigger" fish. For example watch any golf tournament that Tiger Woods participates in, he is the centre of attention.

Alexikokopops Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 They had an ITV moment tonight. Cut to an advert break during break point in the Nadal - Del Potro game
dogadug Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 They had an ITV moment tonight. Cut to an advert break during break point in the Nadal - Del Potro game I seen that as well
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 I watched the Cardiff vs Newcastle at the weekend too and it was much the same story. Only difference was that Cardiff actually deserved to win the game; they walked all over Newcastle for most of the match. They had a couple of penalty shouts as well which the ref wasn't interested in. If you just listened to the commentary without watching the game, you'd think it was the '70 Brazil team playing. On their own as well.

Alexikokopops Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 So far the feed for the US Open final has messed up at least four times!
lildave3 Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 So far the feed for the US Open final has messed up at least four times! I stubbed my toe today aswell, fucking Sky.
Edmund Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 So far the feed for the US Open final has messed up at least four times! Yep was annoying.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 I can't find it but did someone in this thread or another mention about how it's great to be at games, but not great to watch games on tv, something along those lines? Vaguely remember it and really need to find out who it was.
Tilley Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Glad City are on tele this week and twice, so even better.
morris1234 Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Glad City are on tele this week and twice, so even better. tis good! but without nile ranger involved, i predict they are going to be poor games! i mean, the way ranger walked on the pitch was magnificent, just the way he put one foot in front of the other again and again! brilliant! sometimes he did it faster and it was if he was running or something! simply amazing!
AjcW Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 I tried to get friday off work to watch QPR but its not looking likely . Oh well. Sky +
