Finnegan Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 He holds that sign like an Englishman can. I have to be honest that's about the worst picture I could picked. He doesn't look especially intimidating.
StanSP Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Apparently English is a more commonly used language than Welsh in Wales
Guest Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 All this Welsh bashing is well and good, but you're forgetting peeps that the future King of our land is the Prince of Wales.
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Apparently English is a more commonly used language than Welsh in Wales ... well... yeah...? All this Welsh bashing is well and good, but you're forgetting peeps that the future King of our land is the Prince of Wales.
Tommy G Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Wales is full of people wishing they were English & enjoying the benefit of living in England. Not living on some hillside with no electricity farming sheep...
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Not living on some hillside with no electricity farming sheep... yes that's exactly what Wales is like. By the way... have you ever been to Yorkshire?
Guest Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 The more, the merrier, I say. Now, where's that mead.......
Bryn Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 yes that's exactly what Wales is like.By the way... have you ever been to Yorkshire? Hey fook you buddy
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 The more, the merrier, I say. Now, where's that mead....... I don't know, we're going to have the Stratchlyders and the Cumbrians trying to muscle in on this bandwagon, soon, then it'll just all be a mess. Hey fook you buddy truth hurts?
Guest Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 I don't know, we're going to have the Stratchlyders and the Cumbrians trying to muscle in on this bandwagon, soon, then it'll just all be a mess. I'm also a bit Strathclyderish as well, you know
Bryn Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 truth hurts? It's the finest place in the world.
dogadug Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 If only we could get him on loan or something, he'd rip the championship to shreads
StanSP Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 If only we could get him on loan or something, he'd rip the championship to shreads Never gonna happen. Not while he's playing in the first team squad at Arsenal fairly regularly.
The Doctor Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 He played for England Schoolboys because he went to school in England. He was never eligible for the England national team. he was because one of his parents was english (mother i think) he used his mothers maiden name as his surname while playing for the england youth teams then switched back to his actual surname to play for wales.
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 he was because one of his parents was english (mother i think) he used his mothers maiden name as his surname while playing for the england youth teams then switched back to his actual surname to play for wales. *Eye twitches.* Alex... do it for me?
Tommy G Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Even if e does become a superstar, Wales will still be woeful. Giggs has been the best Left winger in the British Isles for the last 15 years yet Wales are still a shower of shite
Fosse Boy Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Apparently English is a more commonly used language than Welsh in Wales I could post a 3,000 word essay I wrote for my course on why that is, but luckily for you I had all my files wiped from my laptop a couple of weeks ago.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 he was because one of his parents was english (mother i think) he used his mothers maiden name as his surname while playing for the england youth teams then switched back to his actual surname to play for wales. *Eye twitches.* Alex... do it for me? LargeAl Ryan Giggs could have played for Sierra Leone or Wales, but no one else. He was born in Wales. His mum was Welsh, his dad was half Welsh, half Sierra Leonean and played Rugby League for Wales. He was not eligible in any way to play for England. He played for England school boys because he went to school in England. He played no youth football for the England national set up. Oh, and his mum's maiden name is Giggs. He used it when he played for England school boys, he used it when he played for Wales under-21s and he used it when he played for Wales. His dad's surname was Wilson. If you mentioned one more time that Ryan Giggs could have played for England then Finnegan will flip out and kill you.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Would have been funny if he chose Sierra Leone.
Fosse Boy Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Would have been funny if he chose Sierra Leone. He would've got to have worn this had he done so.
Fox92 Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Very, very good goal by a very good, and very talented player. I wish him all the sucess that he will (yes, will) get at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger will devalop him into a good player as he does all the bright talents that he has within his club. Ramsey is fantastic though and Arsenal's midfield in a couple of years with the likes of Wilkshire, Ramsey himself, Fabregas, Denilson (because those two are still young) and even Diaby will dominate the Premiership.
Finnegan Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 I could post a 3,000 word essay I wrote for my course on why that is, but luckily for you I had all my files wiped from my laptop a couple of weeks ago. Brad y Llyfrau Gleision?
