were unbeaten at home for a year , we have a 100% home record this season, we have a fully fit squad (almost), were 6th in the league, were playing a side thats not won a game all season and lies just 1 place above the drop zone, absolute banker this one ..........in typical city fashion we shall play like we dont know each other and be beaten 1-0 by a goal scored midway through the 2nd half by a defender who has never scored in his proffesional career and never will do again, but it will be a 30yrd stunner ;)

A. At our place

B. Ok you must know better than a football club chairman

C. i figure that's just a guess, yeah?

Barry Fry did influence the Kick Off change, he was the one who advised the police to do it. I can remember it being said on Sky Sports News. He listed about 3 games which he wanted moving to give the fans less drinking time in the pub.

NP mentioned it in a interview

Funny. I said last season that Christmas had been mentioned for his return. It still wouldn't surprise me if that proves the case. There are no certainties with the sort of injury he's had and any setback can be psychologically as well as physically damaging. I just hope the club take their time and get him right.

I always thought it would take around a year as well.

Just looked on their website and they were given an allocation of 2,339.

But having looked on one of their forums, some people are suggesting that they have only sold 700 as of yesterday. Although they can buy them on the turnstiles tonight.

I reckon they will only bring 1,500 max.

I really dislike Posh as a club and have done for a long while now. I have always lived in Peterborough and seen them a few times when we arent playing, but could never want them to do well or have any success.

I find nearly all Posh fans very arrogant and think that they are world beaters. During recent years most football fans I know in the city support a big 4 team but never go, like all glory-hunters. But in recent years there are now a lot of people who decide they support Posh AS WELL. Thats just plain wrong in my opinion. You either support someone through thick and thin, not just jump on the band wagon like everyone has.

The crowds they get are disgraceful. They claim they want to be in the Championship for a few years before going up to the Prem, despite having a ground which has terracing (so not allowed to go up) and getting crowds of 8000 for good teams, like WBA. But they seem to think this 8000 is good! It hasnt imporved agreat deal since Macanthony has come in. And the funniest thing is that they still think they will go up, and will be able to ground share with us!

They are so disorganised they have to have 12pm kick offs in league 1 for the big teams as they cant handle the crowds! They even had to delay the kick off for WBA in the cup last year due to people trying to get in, only for an attendance of 10000! They make games all ticket then change their mind at the last minute, i.e. Sheff Wed home this season.

They have a little fat twat named Barry Fry who sits on his arse and gets money for doing fook all. When if he left the club I have no doubt it would make attendances go up as people wont go while he is there.

And they have been trying to get a new stadium for ages now but cant find a site anywhere! Its embarrasing!

And the worst thing is that they have stolen the PHG and use it to run out to this season! Thieving bastards.

Your obsession with insulting and bad mouthing Posh at every opportunity is becoming farcical,

have a rest on the couch and tell us about your unhappy childhood, or it could be a lack of sleep due to traffic noise,

I would suggest moving the caravan to a quieter spot away from the road. ;)

Quite agree.

I lived and worked in Peterborough for years, had a trial with the club as a youngster and trained with them one pre-season when John Barnwell was manager. I was a colleague to their football writers Melvyn Beck and Rusell Plummer - even helping them co-write a book on the club.

And my impression was much different. They're a homely club with the vast majority of their fans well aware that they're never likely to be world beaters because they don't have either the set up, the population or even a sufficiently populated catchment area to succeed beyond so far.

That doesn't mean the fans don't have the pride in their club and belief ofmany lower league fans that tomorrow will bring glories unheard of. For its situation the club has done wonderfully well under Ferguson.

At Peterborough last season we enjoyed a drink in a predominently home pub not 800 yards from the ground. The atmosphere was fine and the landlady so welcoming that she told us they had to close the pub to away fans after the match but if we knocked the back door they'd let us in. That wouldn't have happened at Millwall I can tell you - in fact there's not a proper pub within 800 yards that I know of cos they've all been closed even to their own.

Even as a City, an area and a place to work, Peterborough was a smashing place. Lots to do, lots of decent people and some of the loveliest, randiest women in Britain (at least according to my pals!). :D

Jesus, I just emailed their ticket office who said

"We have sold approximately 750 tickets and tickets are available on the gate at the Walkers Stadium"

1000 then. Wheres the other 2,300 that turned up last season? Wont do our average attendances any good

lol and all they did was start drinking at 9am on the train and ended up in a worse state than they would have done if theyd drank steadily at a decent hour in the pub!

We've only played Peterborough twice this decade, and haven't played them in the Championship.

The 2 games were back in League One last season, we destroyed them 4-0 at home, and they destroyed us 2-0 away.

We have started the Championship season well, winning every home match and unlucky not to get a victory in at least one away game.

Peterborough have so far struggled to adapt to life in the Championship, but have lead in their previous 2 matches, before drawing 1-1 against QPR and Palace.

They haven't won a match yet though in the League, but have managed to thrash Wycombe and beat stuggling Ipswich 2-1 in the League Cup.

You would have to tip Peterborough to be in the relegation fight though, they lie just above the drop zone currently, and need to start getting some results, they have only bagged 1 point away from home so far.

So coming to the Walkers Stadium has come at a bad time for them, and you would have to tip us to win this one and keep our 100% home record going.

I think NP can afford to tinker with the team a little for this, i would rest a few players, and be looking to start Tunchev, Adams and possibly Yann Kermogrant.

These guys need a full game under their belts, and i think NP can give it to them for this game, and make sure the others don't get tired with Watford away next Saturday.

I know i've predicted a win for every game so far, but sorry i'm predicting a win here again.

I don't think it will be as easy as last seasons affair, but i hope we can win it safely 2-1, with Peterborough scoring a late consolation goal :D

:yahoo::bounce::celebrate::dance::banana: :locked: :scarf::yahoo::celebrate::P

got a bad feelin about this one and think we may lose 2-1 with McLean getting both theirs
