Afternoon! I just drove past a dead fox and it reminded me to come on here and say hello.

Last time I was on this site we'd just beaten you 2-0 and you lot were bricking yourselves, conceding the title to us and generally overreacting. In the end it all turned out ok, you ran away with it and we held off Dongs and Wall for 2nd place.

Looks like life in the CCC is going well for you then?

I'm looking forward to Tuesday and going to a midweek away game without even having to leave work early.

Do you know how many tickets you've sold for Tuesday?

Anyway, i'm glad you enjoyed every media outlet from the UK coming over and giving you some attention, it's about time 2nd place in League 1 was rewarded with such newsprint and air time.

To be fair, I think you got plenty of attention for the first 6 months of the season when you were running away with it. Surely most of the attention was on 2nd place because you'd already run away with 1st and 2nd was still up for grabs?

Not another one! Do we get any trophies for all these cup finals we keep winning?

There's hype about us?

How Darren Ferguson is the next SA Ferguson, how you play beautiful football, and that you recruit non league players. I don't rate most of your squad although you do have a few gems in there. Like Arsenal, good going forward but poo in defence.

I'm not talking about last season.

I mean this summer, when every newspaper said you would finished 3rd, Sky went and camped at your ground for about three days suring pre-season and everyone was just generally expecting you to be the best team in the world, just because you finished 2nd in the league with the son of a manager who has won a few things.

Don't like Posh as a club at all. I don't understand why all the media thought they would finish higher than us when they didn't strengthen their team at all in the summer.

Oh.

I don't think every newspaper said we were going to finish 3rd! Although I did hear that one pundit had predicted something silly like that.

The media predicting we'd have a good season? Strange reason to hate us isn't it?

I don't hate them. They have done well, they have plucked players from the lower leagues and built a good team. I just don't think it is strong enough for this division. The only thing I hate is London Rd, It isn't a nice place to visit as you don't get to see a thing! :D

thats piss poor, :P

Yeah well. Maybe it's not our cup final then!

Last season you were the 2nd biggest club in the league and you were top. We were 16 games unbeaten or something and it was a big game for us. And it was on a Saturday.

This time round, it's just another game. And there's no trains back apparently, so it's car or licker for most people.

I love that attitude, they bring 3k and its their cup final, bring under 2k and its shite support.

I'd accept a point, keep the unbeaten run going then have a blinding win down at Watford on saturday although lets be honest these just like Swansea, Barnsley and Blackpool were, are here for the taking.

Will be my last home game for many months this.

Yes, London Rd is a terrible ground

Plainy at home, a year unbeaten at the Walkers (right, hold your horses) and a visiting team that looks more or less poor.

I'm not desperate for a win because I already know we're going to win this one.

No way the Posh are a threat the way they've been playing up to this point.

Case is clear: 3-0 win. Easy as. And Howard finally getting back on the scoresheet.

You heard it here first.

Still 10x better than ours

Not sure even I'd go that far! It's a bit past it's best and we're looking to build one a bit more like yours.

On the plus side it has "character". And music isn't played to indicate to the crowd when a goal has been scored ;) .

I quite like yours except for the fact it's identical to loads of others.

only because you don't have to sit it it week in week out!!

the sort of feeling and atmosphere you get from standing in a cow shed with a low roof that holds the sound is something you can never get back when you move to a flatpack modern stadium

I really dislike Posh as a club and have done for a long while now. I have always lived in Peterborough and seen them a few times when we arent playing, but could never want them to do well or have any success.

I find nearly all Posh fans very arrogant and think that they are world beaters. During recent years most football fans I know in the city support a big 4 team but never go, like all glory-hunters. But in recent years there are now a lot of people who decide they support Posh AS WELL. Thats just plain wrong in my opinion. You either support someone through thick and thin, not just jump on the band wagon like everyone has.

The crowds they get are disgraceful. They claim they want to be in the Championship for a few years before going up to the Prem, despite having a ground which has terracing (so not allowed to go up) and getting crowds of 8000 for good teams, like WBA. But they seem to think this 8000 is good! It hasnt imporved agreat deal since Macanthony has come in. And the funniest thing is that they still think they will go up, and will be able to ground share with us!

They are so disorganised they have to have 12pm kick offs in league 1 for the big teams as they cant handle the crowds! They even had to delay the kick off for WBA in the cup last year due to people trying to get in, only for an attendance of 10000! They make games all ticket then change their mind at the last minute, i.e. Sheff Wed home this season.

They have a little fat twat named Barry Fry who sits on his arse and gets money for doing fook all. When if he left the club I have no doubt it would make attendances go up as people wont go while he is there.

And they have been trying to get a new stadium for ages now but cant find a site anywhere! Its embarrasing!

And the worst thing is that they have stolen the PHG and use it to run out to this season! Thieving bastards.
